Ultrathin lithium metal anodes (≤15 µm) offer a promising route to high‐energy‐density batteries due to their high capacity and low potential. This review presents design principles for ultrathin Li, evaluates fabrication strategies, and discusses challenges in liquid and solid‐state cells.

Tailoring Phonon‐Driven Responses in α‐MoO3 through Isotopic Enrichment
ABSTRACT The implementation of polaritonic materials into nanoscale devices requires selective tuning of parameters to realize desired spectral or thermal responses. One robust material, α‐MoO3, an orthorhombic crystal boasting three distinct phonon dispersions, provides three polaritonic dispersions of hyperbolic phonon polaritons (HPhPs) across the ...

Chaos detection in economics. Metric versus topological tools
In their paper Frank F., Gencay R., and Stengos T., (1988) analyze the quarterly macroeconomic data from 1960 to 1988 for West Germany, Italy, Japan and England. The goal was to check for the presence of deterministic chaos.

Tunable Dirac Fermion Dynamics in Topological Insulators
Three-dimensional topological insulators are characterized by insulating bulk state and metallic surface state involving Dirac fermions that behave as massless relativistic particles.

Fraïssé Limits, Ramsey Theory, and topological dynamics of automorphism groups [PDF]
(A) In this paper we study some connections between the Fraïssé theory of amalgamation classes and ultrahomogeneous structures, Ramsey theory, and topological dynamics of automorphism groups of countable structures.

A double‐sided mechanical interlocking strategy is developed to create robust electrical contact between polymer electrode and metal interconnect. The fibrous structure enables formation of thread–hole adhesion, which only breaks under bulk failure and achieves a record high interfacial energy exceeding 730 J·m−2. This adhesion secures the integrity of

Topological Active Metamaterials
Liquids composed of self-propelled particles have been experimentally realized using molecular, colloidal, or macroscopic constituents. These active liquids can flow spontaneously even in the absence of an external drive.

Black-holes, topological strings and large N phase transitions
The counting of microstates of BPS black-holes on local Calabi-Yau of the form (p-2)?(-p) S2 is explored by computing the partition function of q-deformed Yang-Mills theory on S2. We obtain, at finite N, the instanton expansion of the gauge theory.

Polymer electrolytes (PEs) are often indiscriminately grouped as “solid polymer electrolytes (SPEs)”, despite fundamental differences in their ion‐transport mechanisms. This Perspective establishes a mechanism‐based framework that distinguishes gel, quasi‐solid, and all‐solid polymer electrolytes based on their dominant ion‐transport pathways.

A Survey of Interlayer Interaction Models for Graphene and Other 2D Materials
Van der Waals interactions arising from electronic polarization at atomically close interfaces generate corrugated interlayer energy landscapes that govern normal and tangential tractions. This review presents an overview of quantum, atomistic, analytical, and continuum modeling approaches, highlighting their roles across length scales in capturing ...
