Quantum dynamics of topological strings in a frustrated Ising antiferromagnet
We investigate the quantum dynamics of the antiferromagnetic transverse field Ising model on the triangular lattice through large-scale quantum Monte Carlo simulations and stochastic analytic continuation.

Hypermultiplets and topological strings [PDF]
The c-map relates classical hypermultiplet moduli spaces in compactifications of type II strings on a Calabi-Yau threefold to vector multiplet moduli spaces via a further compactification on a circle. We give an off-shell description of the c-map in N=2 superspace.

Topology in thermodynamics of regular black strings with Kaluza–Klein reduction
We study the topological defects in the thermodynamics of regular black strings (from a four-dimensional perspective) that is symmetric under the double Wick rotation and constructed in the high-dimensional spacetime with an extra dimension compactified ...

Realization of non-Hermitian Hopf bundle matter
Non-trivial linking invariant encodes robust information of topological matter. It has been recently shown that the linking and winding of complex eigenenergy strings can classify one-dimensional non-Hermitian topological matter.

Codimension-2 defects and higher symmetries in (3+1)D topological phases
(3+1)D topological phases of matter can host a broad class of non-trivial topological defects of codimension-1, 2, and 3, of which the well-known point charges and flux loops are special cases.

String Phase in an Artificial Spin Ice
Strings of local excitations are interesting features of a strongly correlated topological quantum matter. Here, the authors show that Boltzmann-distributed strings of local excitations also describe the topological physics of the Santa Fe geometry of ...

Perturbative string amplitudes are correctly derived from the string geometry theory, which is one of the candidates of a non-perturbative formulation of string theory. In order to derive non-perturbative effects rather easily, we formulate topological string geometry theory.
