Establishment and Characterization of a Topotecan Resistant Non-small Cell Lung Cancer NCI-H460/TPT10 Cell Line

open access: yesFrontiers in Cell and Developmental Biology, 2020
While topotecan (TPT) is a first- and second-line chemotherapeutic drug in treating lung cancer, the development of drug resistance in tumors still reserves as a major obstacle to chemotherapeutic success.

Rechallenge With Immunotherapy for ES‐SCLC: Efficacy and Safety From a Retrospective Propensity Score‐Matched Study

open access: yesCancer Medicine, Volume 15, Issue 9, September 2026.
ABSTRACT Background Although immunotherapy combined with platinum‐based chemotherapy is now the standard first‐line treatment for extensive‐stage small cell lung cancer (ES‐SCLC), the benefit of continuing immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) after disease progression (PD) remains uncertain.

Berzosertib Plus Topotecan vs Topotecan Alone in Patients With Relapsed Small Cell Lung Cancer: A Randomized Clinical Trial

open access: yes, 2023
Patients with relapsed small cell lung cancer (SCLC), a high replication stress tumor, have poor prognoses and few therapeutic options. A phase 2 study showed antitumor activity with the addition of the ataxia telangiectasia and Rad3-related kinase ...

Topotecan and Ginkgolic Acid Inhibit the Expression and Transport Activity of Human Organic Anion Transporter 3 by Suppressing SUMOylation of the Transporter

open access: yesPharmaceutics
Organic anion transporter 3 (OAT3), expressed at the basolateral membrane of kidney proximal tubule cells, facilitates the elimination of numerous metabolites, environmental toxins, and clinically important drugs.

Augmenting tumor sensitivity to topotecan by transient hypoxia

open access: yes, 2005
We examined how the effect of topotecan is modulated by transient hypoxia in three different tumor lines, Lewis lung carcinoma (LLC), U87 human glioblastoma and DMS273 human small cell lung cancer.

Determination of Topotecan by ELISA.

open access: yesBiological and Pharmaceutical Bulletin, 2001
A highly sensitive ELISA for the determination of (s)-9-dimethylaminomethyl-10-hydroxy-camptothecin (topotecan) capable of measuring as low as 80 pg/ml was developed. Anti-topotecan antibody was obtained by immunizing rabbits with topotecan conjugated with bovine serum albumin using diazotized m-aminobenzoic acid as a cross-linker.
