First measurement of coherent double neutral-pion photoproduction on the deuteron at incident energies below 0.9 GeV

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2017
The total cross sections were measured for coherent double neutral-pion photoproduction on the deuteron at incident energies below 0.9 GeV for the first time.

Total and partial cross sections of the $^{112}$Sn($\alpha,\gamma$)$^{116}$Te reaction measured via in-beam $\gamma$-ray spectroscopy

open access: yes, 2015
An extended database of experimental data is needed to address uncertainties of the nuclear-physics input parameters for Hauser-Feshbach calculations. Especially $\alpha$+nucleus optical model potentials at low energies are not well known.

Deciphering transcriptional plasticity in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma reveals alterations in sensory neuron innervation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pancreatic sensory neurons innervating healthy and PDAC tissue were retrogradely labeled and profiled by single‐cell RNA sequencing. Tumor‐associated innervation showed a dominant neurofilament‐positive subtype, altered mitochondrial gene signatures, and reduced non‐peptidergic neurons.

Fusion excitation function measurement for 6Li+64Ni at near-barrier energies

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2015
Total fusion excitation function has been measured for the reaction of weakly bound 6Li projectile on medium mass 64Ni target at energies near the Coulomb barrier of the system.

Total reaction cross sections from $^{141}$141Pr($\alpha$,$\alpha$)$^{141}$Pr elastic scattering and $\alpha$-induced reaction cross sections at low energies

open access: yes, 2011
Elastic scattering data for $^{141}$Pr($\alpha$,$\alpha$)$^{141}$Pr have been analyzed to derive a new energy-dependent local potential for the $^{141}$Pr-$\alpha$ system. This potential is used successfully to predict the cross section of the $^{141}$Pr(

CCDC80 suppresses high‐grade serous ovarian cancer migration via negative regulation of B7‐H3

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
PAX8 is a lineage‐specific master regulator of transcription in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSC) progression. We show for the first time that PAX8 facilitates proliferation and metastasis by repressing the cell autonomous tumor suppressor CCDC80 and inducing B7‐H3 expression.

Total reaction cross sections from heavy ion elastic scattering

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 1976
Abstract A model-independent method of obtaining total reaction cross sections has been applied to α-particle and 16 O, 40 Ar and 84 Kr elastic scattering. Results are compared with total reaction cross sections determined by other means.

Hijacking emergency granulopoiesis: Neutrophil ontogeny and reprogramming in cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Neutrophils are highly plastic innate immune cells; their functions in cancer extend beyond the tumour microenvironment. This Review summarises current understanding of neutrophil maturation and heterogeneity and highlights tumour‐induced granulopoiesis as a systemic programme that expands immature, immunosuppressive neutrophils via tumour‐derived ...

Study of enhancement of total cross sections of reactions with 6He, 6,9Li nuclei

open access: yesEurasian Journal of Physics and Functional Materials, 2017
The energy dependence of total cross sections of reactions 6He + Si and 6,9Li + Si in the beam energy range 5-30 MeV/nucleon has been measured. An agreement with the published experimental data for the reaction 6He+Si was obtained. For the reaction 9Li +

Total Nuclear Reaction Cross Section Induced by Halo Nuclei and Stable Nuclei

open access: yes, 2003
We develop the method for the calculation of the total reaction cross sections induced by the halo nuclei and stable nuclei. This approach is based on the Glauber theory, which is valid for nuclear reactions at high energy.
