Biaxial Extrusion of Polyimide Larc—tpi and Larc—tpi Blends
MRS Proceedings, 1989 ABSTRACTBiaxial films of polyimide LARC—TPI and LARC—TPI/liquid crystal polymer Xydar®were extruded directly from the melt for the first time via an innovative new extrusion technique. Three types of films, neat LARC—TPI, LARC—TPI/lO wt percent and 30 wt percent blends were processed as a part of this NASA funded program.

Journal of Macromolecular Science, Part B, 2008Trans‐1,4‐polyisoprene (TPI) with a Mooney viscosity of 120 was filled with 37.5 phr aromatic oil to prepare oil‐extended trans‐1,4‐polyisoprene (OETPI) by a dry oil‐extending process. The curing characteristics of TPI gum, OETPI gum, and TPI/SBR compounds were studied and the mechanical properties of vulcanizates were also investigated.

Pathology, 1980This study was undertaken in the investigation of a child with chronic non-spherocytic haemolytic anaemia. B.C. was born in 1977 of unrelated parents. His father has β-thalassaemia minor. He required an exchange transfusion for neonatal jaundice and subsequently has had persistent anaemia, splenomegaly and intermittent jaundice.
