Cardiac troponin and tropomyosin bind to F‐actin cooperatively, as revealed by fluorescence microscopy

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, 2020
In cardiac muscle, binding of troponin (Tn) and tropomyosin (Tpm) to filamentous (F)‐actin forms thin filaments capable of Ca2+‐dependent regulation of contraction.

IoT-TPMS

open access: yesInternational journal of health sciences, 2022
In general, the number of diseases is increasing in the current era. There is also a growing fear among the patients about the nature of the growing number of new diseases and their consequences. Thus the patients are interested in getting treatment from healthcares for minor physical problems.

Real GIT with applications to compatible representations and Wick-rotations

open access: yes, 2019
Motivated by Wick-rotations of pseudo-Riemannian manifolds, we study real geometric invariant theory (GIT) and compatible representations. We extend some of the results from earlier works \cite{W2,W1}, in particular, we give some sufficient as well as ...

Multifunctional Crushing and Piezoresistive Self‐Sensing in Conductive Epoxy/CNT‐Coated Polyetherimide TPMS Lattices

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
This study reports lightweight polyetherimide triply periodic minimal surfaces lattices coated with carbon nanotube‐reinforced epoxy that combine mechanical robustness with self‐sensing. The conformal coating enhances stiffness, strength and energy absorption while enabling reliable strain monitoring.

A Thermodynamic Study on the Complex Formation Between Tris(2-Pyridyl)Methylamine (tpm) with Fe2+, Fe3+, Cu2+ and Cr3+ Cations in Water–Acetonitrile Binary Solutions Using the Conductometric Method

open access: yesInternational Journal of Electrochemical Science, 2013
The complexation reactions between tris(2pyridyl) methylamine, tpm with Cu2+, Fe2+, Fe3+ and Cr3+, cations, were examined in acetonitrile-water (AN–H2O) binary mixtures.

Gastro protecting influence of Topiramate in ethanol produced gastric ulcers in rats

open access: yesToxicology Reports, 2021
Background: Topiramate (TPM), an antiepileptic drug, is also effective against alcohol dependency, a crucial factor in forming gastric ulcers. There is an increased possibility of patients with compromised gastric conditions getting exposed to TPM, but ...

Approximations of Lipschitz maps via Ehresmann's fibrations and Reeb's sphere theorem for Lipschitz functions

open access: yes, 2020
We show, as our main theorem, that if a Lipschitz map from a compact Riemannian manifold $M$ to a connected compact Riemannian manifold $N$, where $\dim M \geq \dim N$, has no singular points on $M$ in the sense of F.H.

Additive Manufacturing of NiTi Shape Memory Alloys for Elastocaloric Applications: A Review

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Additive manufacturing enables complex NiTi architectures that overcome key limitations in elastocaloric refrigeration, including poor heat transfer and high mechanical work input. This review surveys recent advances in LPBF‐ and DED‐fabricated NiTi shape memory alloys for elastocaloric applications, highlighting process–structure–performance ...

Chamber‐Specific Decellularized Extracellular Matrices Differentially Modulate Cardiomyocyte Subtypes to Drive Engineered Heart Tissue Development and Function

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Chamber‐specific decellularized extracellular matrices (ECMs) were developed, preserving native proteomic profiles of ventricular and atrial myocardium. These innate biochemical cues differentially modulate cardiomyocyte subtypes to drive engineered heart tissue development and function, highlighting the importance of incorporating regional ECM cues in
