CT of Diffuse Tracheal Diseases
American Journal of Roentgenology, 2011AJR:196, March 2011 both relapsing polychondritis and tracheobronchopathia osteochondroplastica. However, the presence of focal coarse calcification and ossification is highly suggestive of tracheobronchopathia osteochondroplastica rather than relapsing polychondritis. 7.

Structural Considerations in Tracheal Disease
American Journal of Veterinary Research, 1979SUMMARY Examinations were made of three sections of trachea obtained from eight dogs. The sections examined were at the regions of the second ring caudal to the larynx, the thoracic inlet, and the origin of the brachiocephalic trunk. Measurements were made of the lateral and ventrodorsal diameters, the lumen area of the trachea, the width and thickness

Management of obstructive tracheal disease in children
Journal of Pediatric Surgery, 1984Fifty-two patients from seven weeks to 15 years of age were treated for congenital (six patients) or acquired (46 patients) tracheal lesions. Twenty underwent tracheal resection and reconstruction: congenital stenosis 3 (5 to 9 yr), postintubation stenosis 9 (11 to 15 yr), TEF 1 (15 yr), posttraumatic 2 (9 to 15 yr) idiopathic 1 (14 yr) and primary ...

Castleman's Disease Presenting as a Tracheal Mass
The Annals of Thoracic Surgery, 2014Castleman's disease (CD) is a rare lymphoproliferative disorder of uncertain cause. The most common site of involvement is the mediastinum. Endotracheal CD is extremely rare. We report a case of unicentric, hyaline-vascular type CD presenting as an obstructive tracheal mass.

Tracheal Hodgkin's Disease Report of a Case
Tumori Journal, 1984A tracheal localization of a Hodgkin's disease is described in a 28-year-old man. The diagnosis was made on a tissue fragment spontaneously emitted and was confirmed by a tracheoscopic biopsy. Radiologic examination revealed adenopathy of the anterosuperior mediastinum, but no other localization.

Tracheal quadrifurcation associated with congenital heart disease
Pediatric Radiology, 2015Tracheal anomalies are known in association with congenital cardiac defects. Some of the well-described anomalies include accessory (displaced) tracheal bronchus with variants, tracheal trifurcation and accessory cardiac bronchus. Here we describe a case of tracheal quadrifurcation associated with complex congenital heart disease.

Tracheal Agenesis: A Rare Disease with Unique Airway Considerations
Anesthesia & Analgesia, 2003Abnormal tracheal development causes a spectrum of life-threatening anomalies. We report a newborn with tracheal agenesis and a common "esophagotrachea." Ventilation was achieved first by face mask then with an endotracheal tube. In this report, we describe the types of tracheal agenesis and discuss initial airway management.
