Identification of Subway Track Irregularities Based on Detection Data of Portable Detector

open access: yes, 2022
At present, the detection of subway track irregularities is mainly carried out by track inspection vehicles and track inspection trolleys. Such detections are restricted by subway service time, so they can only be carried out once every few months.

Microsphere‐Templated Conductive Syntactic Foams for Recyclable and Additively Manufactured Soft Electronics

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
This work introduces a microsphere‐templated strategy to fabricate reprocessable PEDOT:PSS syntactic foams with tunable porosity, stable conductivity, and 3D printability. In situ PEDOT:PSS coatings create a conductive network that maintains electrical performance at high void fractions.

Mechanical track deterioration due to lateral geometry irregularities [Elektronisk resurs]

open access: yes, 2012
This thesis deals with how a degraded track geometry influences further degradation of the geometry and the formation of rolling contact fatigue (RCF) and wear of rails. The overall objective is optimisation of railway maintenance.

Mechanically Programmable DNA Hydrogel Microparticles for 3D Cellular Systems

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
DNA hydrogel microparticles are designed to exhibit controllable viscoelasticity and stiffness across three orders of magnitude from 30Pa$30 \,\mathrm{Pa}$ to 6.5kPa$6.5 \,\mathrm{kPa}$. They are uptaken into fibroblast spheroids where they are actively remodeled by cellular forces depending on their mechanical properties.

The Analysis and Creation of Track Irregularities Using TRAKVU

open access: yes, 1998
The accuracy of the results from a rail vehicle dynamic model is dependent on the realism of the track input to the model. An important part of the track input is the irregularities that exist on actual track.

Dynamic reliability analysis of vehicle-track coupled systems considering randomness of track irregularities

open access: yes, 2019
A solution method for dynamic reliability of vehicle-track coupled systems considering the randomness of track irregularities is presented by combining the wheel-rail force prediction based iterative solution technique with the subset simulation (SS ...
