Regulated Ion‐Diffusion Hydrogels for Subtle and Multimodal Temperature‐Strain Sensing in Wound Monitoring

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A soft, dual‐channel hydrogel patch enables simultaneous detection of wound temperature and strain by integrating ion‐diffusion‐mediated thermoelectric and resistive sensing. The conformal design maintains stable performance during motion, capturing subtle inflammatory and mechanical changes for continuous wound monitoring.

Spatial Coupling Vibration of Vehicle-Track-Bridge System due to Different Track Irregularities

open access: yes, 2011
Track irregularity is one of the most important factors that induce vehicle-track-bridge coupling vibration. In this paper, spatial model of vehicle- track-bridge system is established.

The influence of track geometry irregularities on rolling contact fatigue

open access: yes, 2012
Optimised maintenance of railway tracks requires knowledge of how a deteriorated track geometry will affect subsequent damage of the track. In this study the influence on rolling contact fatigue (RCF) is investigated through numerical simula- tions.

Design Strategies and Emerging Applications of High‐Performance Flexible Piezoresistive Pressure Sensors

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Flexible piezoresistive pressure sensors underpin wearable and soft electronics. This review links sensing physics, including contact resistance modulation, quantum tunneling and percolation, to unified materials/structure design. We highlight composite and graded architectures, interfacial/porous engineering, and microstructured 3D conductive networks

Track irregularity limits from consideration of track-vehicle interaction

open access: yesMathematical and Computer Modelling, 1988
Safe and comfortable performance of railborne transport necessitates upkeep of track geometry irregularities within preset limits. This paper addresses to the methodology-with one case application including derivation of limits of track geometry irregularities based on track-vehicle interaction considerations as to meet the overall objectives of safety,

Correlation analysis method of track irregularity indexes

open access: yesIOP Conference Series: Earth and Environmental Science, 2021
Abstract Research on the correlation analysis method of track irregularity indexes has an important guiding role in selecting targeted maintenance decision-making indexes and guiding maintenance decision making related to track irregularity state. In this study, the track irregularity index structures and track quality index were used to

Rationally Designed Bilayer Passivation Strategy for High‐Performance Vacuum‐Processed Perovskite Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A bilayer “Anchor‐and‐Seal” passivation strategy using EDAI2 and 4MeO‐PEAI effectively mitigates surface defects in vacuum‐processed perovskite films through synergistic hydrogen bonding and Lewis base coordination. This approach optimizes interfacial energy alignment and suppresses non‐radiative recombination, enabling vacuum‐deposited p‐i‐n ...

Measurements of track stiffness and track irregularities todetect short waved support conditions

open access: yes, 2006
Short waved vertical irregularities of the track can cause high dynamic train-track interactionforces. These forces cause several problems, for example deterioration of track geometry anddamage of components.
