Polynomial kernels for tracking shortest paths

open access: yesInformation Processing Letters, 2023
Given an undirected graph $G=(V,E)$, vertices $s,t\in V$, and an integer $k$, Tracking Shortest Paths requires deciding whether there exists a set of $k$ vertices $T\subseteq V$ such that for any two distinct shortest paths between $s$ and $t$, say $P_1$ and $P_2$, we have $T\cap V(P_1)\neq T\cap V(P_2)$.

Path tracking control of tracked vehicles

Proceedings 2000 ICRA. Millennium Conference. IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation. Symposia Proceedings (Cat. No.00CH37065), 2002
A path tracking control algorithm for tracked surface drilling machines is presented. The general dynamic model of such vehicle is simulated including track-soil interactions. The controller is based on feedback linearization of the equations with feedforward friction compensation.

Path tracking: Combined path following and trajectory tracking for autonomous underwater vehicles

2011 IEEE/RSJ International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems, 2011
This paper proposes a novel control strategy for autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs), named as path tracking, which combines the conventional path following and trajectory tracking control in order to achieve smooth spatial convergence and tight temporal performance as well. This idea is inspired by the previous work of Hindman [1] and Encarnacao [2],

Noncoherent mmWave Path Tracking

Proceedings of the 18th International Workshop on Mobile Computing Systems and Applications, 2017
Millimeter (mm) wave picocellular networks have the potential for providing the 1000X capacity increase required to keep up with the explosive growth of mobile data. However, maintaining beams towards mobile users and adapting to frequent blockage, requires efficient, dynamic path tracking algorithms.

Path tracking with IGPS

2010 International Conference on Indoor Positioning and Indoor Navigation, 2010
iGPS technology is a laser-based indoor system with optical sensors and transmitters to determine the 3D/4D position of static or moving objects. The technology is based on internal time measurements related to spatial rays that intersect at sensors in the measuring volume.

Path tracking control for Dubin's cars

Proceedings of IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation, 2002
The problem of driving a Dubin's car (1957) along a given path is considered. In order to model a realistic road-following problem, the car is supposed to move forward only and to have bounds on the turning radius (Dubin's car). We propose a discontinuous control scheme on the angular velocity of the vehicle, based on the theory of sliding modes, that ...

Active path tracking

ATZ worldwide, 2002
