Path Tracking by the Nonholonomic Mobile Manipulator
2019 12th International Workshop on Robot Motion and Control (RoMoCo), 2019Following paper present a description of a non-holonomic mobile manipulator relative to three-dimensional path. Path has been orthogonally parametrized to the Serret-Frenet frame moving along the curve. Control law for the RTR manipulator with fixed first joint, mounted on the unicycle platform, which realizes the path following has been presented ...

Dominant orientation tracking for path following
2005 IEEE/RSJ International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems, 2005The behaviour that allows mobile robots to follow what humans consider as paths is beneficial for autonomous navigation in a wide range of environments. Paths can be corridors, footpaths, catwalks, roads, etc. In fact roads can be considered as well-structured paths. Traditional approaches to path following has been extensions of road following systems.

Path tracking of Automated Guided Vehicle
2014 Seventh International Conference on Contemporary Computing (IC3), 2014In this paper, a systematic method for kinematics and dynamic tricycle modelling of AGV is presented to track the desired trajectory. The localization of AGV is done by a laser sensor NAV200 which is used to detect the AGV position in dour environment in real time. The AGV consists of 2 passive wheels at rear and 1 driving wheel at front.

Path Tracking Automation of Articulated Vehicles
IFAC Proceedings Volumes, 1996Abstract The problem of path tracking control for the class of articulated vehicles, in which the steering is performed by changing the articulation angle is studied. The analysis is based on the kinematics of motion, due to the fact that in the class of vehicles under study the speed of operation is relatively low and, as a result, as far as path ...

This chapter discusses the important task of optimal path tracking, i.e. situations where the path of the is prescribed while its EE trajectory is not. Therein, joint space and work space path tracking approaches are distinguished, cf. Section 5.1 and Section 5.2, respectively.
