The Design of a Low-Cost Sensing and Control Architecture for a Search and Rescue Assistant Robot
At a disaster site, unforeseen circumstances can severely limit the activities of rescue workers. The best solution is for a cooperative team of robots and rescue workers to complete the rescue work.

On the geometry of Zermelo's optimal control trajectories
In the present work, we study the optimal control paths in the Zermelo navigation problem from the geometric and differential equations point of view rather than the optimal control point of view, where the latter has been carried out in our recent work.

Controlling Selectivity by Controlling the Path of Trajectories
Consideration of the role of dynamic trajectories in [1,2]- and [2,3]-sigmatropic rearrangements suggests a counterintuitive approach to controlling the selectivity. In our hypothesis, [2,3] selectivity can be promoted by reaction conditions that thermodynamically disfavor the [2,3] rearrangement step and thereby make the transition state later.

Using PID Controller and SDRE methods for tracking control of Spacecrafts in Closed-Rendezvous Process [PDF]
Rendezvous process of spacecrafts is one of major issues in study of aerospace engineering. Tracking control in Rendezvous process is very complex due to the need to fulfill the conditions and constraints to determine the control forces to bring Chaser ...

Trajectory Control Technology of Bedding Drilling in Medium Thick Coal Seam
There are some problems existing in the field application of progressively extended drilling technology such as unclear active exploration distance, high probability of outside the coal seam, exploration inefficiency and so on.

Controlling Phoretic Swimmer Trajectory
ABSTRACTIndividually propulsive catalytic Janus particle swimmers are observed to self-assemble into aggregate swimmers with a wide variety of translational and rotational velocities. The trajectory for a given doublet is shown to be determined by the frozen in relative orientation of the particles.

Coherent Electron Trajectory Control in Graphene [PDF]
We investigate coherent electron dynamics in graphene, interacting with the electric field waveform of two orthogonally polarized, few-cycle laser pulses. Recently, we demonstrated that linearly polarized driving pulses lead to sub-optical-cycle Landau-Zener quantum path interference by virtue of the combination of intraband motion and interband ...

Trajectory Control of a Parallel Slider System by Combining PD Control and Neural Network Control [PDF]
The parallel slider system can be configured as a parallel robot by combining with other link devices. Therefore, the degree of positioning of the parallel slider would have considerable influence on the smooth operation of the parallel robot.

Singular Trajectories of Control-Affine Systems [PDF]
When applying methods of optimal control to motion planning or stabilization problems, some theoretical or numerical difficulties may arise, due to the presence of specific trajectories, namely, singular minimizing trajectories of the underlying optimal control problem.
