Longitudinal circulating tumor DNA profiling in patients with advanced endometrial cancer using an off‐the‐shelf targeted NGS panel

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Intratumour heterogeneity complicates precision management of advanced endometrial cancer. Circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) offers a minimally invasive strategy to capture tumor evolution and therapeutic resistance. Here, we compare tumor‐agnostic NGS with tumor‐informed ddPCR, outlining their relative sensitivity, concordance, and clinical implications ...

Trajectory Prediction of Target Aircraft Based on HPSO-TPFENN Neural Network

open access: yesXibei Gongye Daxue Xuebao, 2019
Trajectory prediction plays an important role in modern air combat. Aiming at the large degree of modern simplification, low prediction accuracy, poor authenticity and reliability of data sample in traditional methods, a trajectory prediction method ...

Road-Aware Trajectory Prediction for Autonomous Driving on Highways

open access: yesSensors, 2020
For driving safely and comfortably, the long-term trajectory prediction of surrounding vehicles is essential for autonomous vehicles. For handling the uncertain nature of trajectory prediction, deep-learning-based approaches have been proposed previously.

Lost in Time: Temporal Analytics for Long-Term Video Surveillance

open access: yes, 2017
Video surveillance is a well researched area of study with substantial work done in the aspects of object detection, tracking and behavior analysis. With the abundance of video data captured over a long period of time, we can understand patterns in human

Molecular cancer prevention: Intercepting disease

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Oncological practice must evolve, from treating established tumours to proactive cancer interception before clinical manifestation. This will require mechanistic insight into tumour initiation, validated biomarkers of early disease development and redesigned clinical trials, enabling cancer interception to become a core pillar of oncology with the ...

Applying Deep Bidirectional LSTM and Mixture Density Network for Basketball Trajectory Prediction

open access: yes, 2017
Data analytics helps basketball teams to create tactics. However, manual data collection and analytics are costly and ineffective. Therefore, we applied a deep bidirectional long short-term memory (BLSTM) and mixture density network (MDN) approach.

A light‐triggered Time‐Resolved X‐ray Solution Scattering (TR‐XSS) workflow with application to protein conformational dynamics

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Time‐resolved X‐ray solution scattering captures how proteins change shape in real time under near‐native conditions. This article presents a practical workflow for light‐triggered TR‐XSS experiments, from data collection to structural refinement. Using a calcium‐transporting membrane protein as an example, the approach can be broadly applied to study ...

Single Trajectory Conformal Prediction

open access: yes2024 IEEE 63rd Conference on Decision and Control (CDC)
We study the performance of risk-controlling prediction sets (RCPS), an empirical risk minimization-based formulation of conformal prediction, with a single trajectory of temporally correlated data from an unknown stochastic dynamical system. First, we use the blocking technique to show that RCPS attains performance guarantees similar to those enjoyed ...

Exon 7 splicing of ERα predicts poor prognosis and increases phenotypic heterogeneity in luminal a subtype breast cancer

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
ERα splice variant ERα∆7 lacks the C‐terminus, and its expression may change phenotypes of breast cancers. Our results showed that ERα∆7 is found in the luminal A subtype, and elevated ERα∆7 levels are linked to improved cell survival with lower proliferation and migration.

The vertical trajectory prediction algorithm of FMS for the cruise flight phase and its application

open access: yesHangkong gongcheng jinzhan
It is well known that there are several vertical flight phases for the aircraft in the flight. The cruise flight phase takes most of the flight time, flight distance and fuel consumption, so it is important and necessary to develop the flight management ...
