A Robust and Universal LC–MS/MS Method for Determination of N‐Nitrosodimethylamine in Pharmaceuticals Using a C30 Column

open access: yesJournal of Separation Science, Volume 49, Issue 6, June 2026.
ABSTRACT Since the 2018 valsartan recall, the genotoxic impurity N‐nitrosodimethylamine (NDMA) has been frequently detected in various pharmaceuticals. Matrix variability often complicates routine testing, requiring customized analyses. We developed a universal LC–MS/MS method enabling consistent NDMA detection across diverse pharmaceuticals ...

Removal of a Fishhook‐Shaped Foreign Body in the Bronchus and Literature Review

open access: yesRespirology Case Reports, Volume 14, Issue 6, June 2026.
Fishhook‐shaped bronchial foreign bodies are rare and difficult to remove. We report a case of a fishhook‐shaped foreign body in the basal segment of the right lower lobe removed via rigid bronchoscopy combined with flexible bronchoscopy. The value of the combined use of rigid and flexible bronchoscopy for foreign body removal is emphasised.
