Weight processing of signals based on the Barker codes with few different weights

open access: yesИзвестия высших учебных заведений России: Радиоэлектроника, 2015
The method of the inverse filter to suppress side lobe signals based on the Barker codes with few different weights. The regular methodology of finding the weight coefficients is presented.

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.

Vibration Response Analysis of Metro Vehicle Converter Cabinet Based on Finite Element Method

open access: yes机车电传动, 2018
The vibration response analysis of metro vehicle converter cabinet was carried out based on FEM software HyperMesh and Virtual.Lab. The vibration acceleration response of converter cabinet lugs was obtained by modal analysis and correction, transfer ...

An isoform of 14‐3‐3 protein regulates transbilayer lipid movement at the plasma membrane

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Loss of 14‐3‐3ζ in CHO cells confers resistance to exogenous phosphatidylserine (PS) and impairs endocytosis‐independent inward flip‐flop of fluorescent PS at the plasma membrane. RNAi‐mediated knockdown reproduces this defect, while no additive effect is seen in ATP11C‐deficient cells.

Mechanism of nucleate pool boiling heat transfer to sodium and the criterion for stable boiling [PDF]

open access: yes, 1967
A comparison between liquid metals and other common fluids, like water, is made as regards to the various stages of nucleate pool boiling. It is suggested that for liquid metals the stage of building the thermal layer plays the most significant part in ...

The ubiquitin ligase RNF115 is required for the clearance of damaged lysosomes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Upon lysosomal rupture, an E3 ubiquitin ligase RNF115 translocates from the cytosol to the damaged lysosomal membrane. Moreover, RNF115 depletion impairs the clearance of damaged lysosomes, identifying it as a key regulator of lysosomal quality control.

Organizing the interface—Plasma membrane architecture and receptor dynamics in virus‐cell interactions

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Plasma membranes contain dynamic nanoscale domains that organize lipids and receptors. Because viruses operate at similar scales, this architecture shapes early infection steps, including attachment, receptor engagement, and entry. Using influenza A virus and HIV‐1 as examples, we highlight how receptor nanoclusters, multivalent glycan interactions ...

Epigenetic blind spots – the role of DNA methylation dynamics in stem cell‐based models of embryogenesis

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Embryo‐like structures (stembryos) are an innovative tool, but they are hindered by experimental variability and limited developmental potential. DNA methylation is crucial for mammalian development, but its status in stembryo models is poorly characterized.

Recovery from a transfer disruption [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
The present study examined the role of skill acquisition and skill transfer in relation to both Anderson's (1993) Adaptive Control of Thought theory and Logan's (1988) instance theory.

Modeling the Electrical Activity of the Heart via Transfer Functions and Genetic Algorithms

open access: yesBiomimetics
Although healthcare and medical technology have advanced significantly over the past few decades, heart disease continues to be a major cause of mortality globally. Electrocardiography (ECG) is one of the most widely used tools for the detection of heart
