Engineered ferritin for lanthanide binding [PDF]
Ferritin H-homopolymers have been extensively used as nanocarriers for diverse applications in the targeted delivery of drugs and imaging agents, due to their unique ability to bind the transferrin receptor (CD71), highly overexpressed in most tumor ...

Aldosterone‐producing adenomas (APAs) develop via two distinct paths: directly from adrenal zona glomerulosa (zG) cells, or stepwise from zG cells through aldosterone‐producing micronodules (APMs) before progressing to APAs. Advanced single‐cell and spatial analyses identified distinct cell states linked to oxidative stress and cell–cell interactions ...

In PCOS patients with hyperandrogenemia, decreased ferritin heavy chain 1 (FTH1) causes Fe2⁺ overload and ferroptosis in trophoblasts. Androgens induce FTH1 protein degradation via AR‐LAMP2A‐mediated chaperone‐mediated autophagy pathway, leading to placental development disruption and early pregnancy loss. Metformin mitigates androgen‐induced placental

At 4 degrees C transferrin bound to receptors on the reticulocyte plasma membrane, and at 37 degrees C receptor-mediated endocytosis of transferrin occurred. Uptake at 37 degrees C exceeded binding at 4 degrees C by 2.5-fold and saturated after 20-30 min.

This study develops gallium‐doped V2C MXene nanozymes (Ga‐V2C) to treat acetaminophen‐induced liver injury through multi‐death pathway blockade and hepatocyte regeneration. Unlike conventional single‐target therapies like N‐acetylcysteine, Ga‐V2C nanozymes enable oxidative stress suppression, apoptosis, and ferroptosis inhibition, and enhanced ...

Transferrin receptor (TfR) trafficking determines brain uptake of TfR antibody affinity variants
High-affinity transferrin receptor (TfR) bispecific antibodies facilitate trafficking of TfR to lysosomes and induce TfR degradation to decrease the ability of TfR to mediate BBB transcytosis.

Single‐cell RNA/TCR/BCR sequencing reveals that 5CAR therapy in T‐ALL induces T‐cell exhaustion, reduces EBV‐associated TCRs, lowers TCR/BCR diversity, and increases NK/DC/monocyte activation and function. In contrast, 7CAR therapy reduces multiple pathogen‐associated TCRs, enhances NK cell activation and function, decreases monocyte activation, and ...

Decoding Human Placental Cellular and Molecular Responses to Obesity and Fetal Growth
Women with obesity often deliver large‐for‐gestational‐age (LGA) infants. Single‐nucleus RNA sequencing of term placenta reveals that hypoxia and TNF‐α signaling in syncytiotrophoblasts are featured in maternal obesity, but inflammatory signatures in Hofbauer cells and response to lipid or carbohydrate metabolism in fibroblasts are specific to LGA.
