An Interpretation on Kinetics of Martensitic Transformation
We have investigated athermal and isothermal martensitic transformations (typical displacive transformations) in Fe–Ni, Fe–Ni–Cr, and Ni-Co-Mn-In alloys under magnetic fields and hydrostatic pressures in order to understand the time-dependent nature of ...

Radiotherapy (RT) response depends on the DNA repair capacity of tumor and host cells. We show that circulating tumor cell (CTC) counts and apoptosis rates before and after RT predict treatment response and outcome, which can be accessed via easily accessible liquid biopsy approaches. Phase transformation kinetics model for metals
We develop a new model for phase transformation kinetics in metals by generalizing the Levitas-Preston (LP) phase field model of martensite phase transformations (see Levitas and Preston (2002a,b); Levitas, Preston and Lee (2003)) to arbitrary pressure.

Kinetics of phase transformations in depletion-driven colloids
We present results from a detailed numerical study of the kinetics of phase transformations in a model two-dimensional depletion-driven colloidal system. Transition from a single, dispersed phase to a two-phase coexistence of monomers and clusters is obtained as the depth of the interaction potential among the colloidal particles is changed. Increasing

Kinetics of bainite transformation in heterogeneous microstructures
International audienceIn classical models for microstructural evolution, the natural dispersion existing in the samples is often neglected. In this paper, we propose a general procedure that takes into account the distribution of austenite grain size on ...

Loss of IGF‐1R impairs DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin leading to defective end‐joining
IGF‐1R promotes radioresistance by facilitating DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin, enabling non‐homologous end‐joining (NHEJ) repair of double‐strand breaks. Inhibition or loss of IGF‐1R disrupts this recruitment to damage sites, driving compensatory reliance on microhomology‐mediated end‐joining (MMEJ) repair.

Transformation kinetics in partially crystallized amorphous alloys —a theoretical approach
A model for the kinetics of phase transformation in amorphous alloys is proposed. The theoretical approach takes into account microstructural changes occurring during transformation and the interaction of as-created nuclei and growing crystallites with

The novel styrylquinazolinone‐based molecule W1B effectively suppresses glioblastoma by inhibiting IGF1R and EGFR. In high‐glucose microenvironments driving tumor resistance, W1B acts synergistically with the EGFR inhibitor dacomitinib. This combination safely blocks compensatory survival signaling in zebrafish xenograft models. Showcasing promising in

Quantitative Assessment of the Time to End Bainitic Transformation
Low temperature bainite consists of an intimate mixture of bainitic ferrite and retained austenite, usually obtained by isothermal treatments at temperatures close to the martensite start temperature and below the bainite start temperature.

Single‐cell multi‐omics reveals epigenetic heterogeneity across therapy‐adaptive tumor states, including quiescent/dormant, drug‐tolerant persister, and EMT‐like phenotypes. By linking regulatory features with state‐associated biomarkers, these approaches inform biomarker‐guided therapeutic strategies for evolving tumors.
