Branching Fractions and Transition Probabilities for UV Transitions in the Spectrum of Cr ii
We present transition probabilities for 268 spectral lines of singly ionized chromium (Cr ii ) in the wavelength region 208–414 nm. Branching fractions were measured in archival Fourier transform spectra of chromium-argon and chromium-neon hollow cathode

Quantum Probability’s Algebraic Origin
Max Born’s statistical interpretation made probabilities play a major role in quantum theory. Here we show that these quantum probabilities and the classical probabilities have very different origins.

Exact formulas of the transition probabilities of the multi-species asymmetric simple exclusion process [PDF]
We find the formulas of the transition probabilities of the $N$-particle multi-species asymmetric simple exclusion processes (ASEP), and show that the transition probabilities are written as a determinant when the order of particles in the final state is

Location Prediction Based on Transition Probability Matrices Constructing from Sequential Rules for Spatial-Temporal K-Anonymity Dataset. [PDF]
Spatial-temporal k-anonymity has become a mainstream approach among techniques for protection of users' privacy in location-based services (LBS) applications, and has been applied to several variants such as LBS snapshot queries and continuous queries ...

Partial Photoionization Cross Sections of Chromium from the Ground and Excited States
Partial and total photoionization cross sections of iron-peak elements are important for the determination of abundances in late-type stars and nebular objects.

Generalized “transition probability” [PDF]
An operationally meaningful symmetric function defined on pairs of states of an arbitrary physical system is constructed and is shown to coincide with the usual “transition probability” in the special case of systems admitting a quantum-mechanical description. It can be used to define a metric in the set of physical states.

A real formula for transition probabilities
Transition probabilities between states in two dimensional quantum systems are derived as functions of unit vectors in R3 instead of state vectors in C2.

Chaos in nonlinear random walks with nonmonotonic transition probabilities
Random walks serve as important tools for studying complex network structures, yet their dynamics in cases where transition probabilities are not static remain under explored and poorly understood.

Investigation Of Electrical And Magnatical Multiples Contributions To The Total Longitudinal And Transvers Firm Factors In Some Positive 25mg States Using Different Interactions [PDF]
The nuclear structure of the 25Mg nucleus was studied using the shell model and Skyrme computations. For positive parity low (energy states, inelastic electron scattering form factors, energy levels, charge density distribution, and transition ...

Transition probabilities between quasifree states [PDF]
We obtain a general formula for the transition probabilities between any state of the algebra of the canonical commutation relations (CCR-algebra) and a squeezed quasifree state.
