Predictors of reading words and pseudowords in highly transparent orthography
2016Purpose: It is well-know that phonological awareness (PA), rapid automatized naming (RAN) and working memory (WM) are some of the best predictors of text reading, regardless of orthography. Less attention has been given to relationship between these predictors and reading of words and pseudowords in the period when child`s reading is nearly automatized.
