Stereotyped Subclones Revealed by High‐Density Single‐Cell Lineage Tracing Support Robust Development

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Based on a well‐established in vitro directed differentiation model and an integrated analysis of high‐density cell lineage trees (CLTs) and single‐cell transcriptomes, it is demonstrated that many subclones are formed by sub‐CLTs resembling each other in terms of both cell type compositions and topological structures.

Tensor Transpose and Its Properties [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2014
Tensor transpose is a higher order generalization of matrix transpose. In this paper, we use permutations and symmetry group to define? the tensor transpose. Then we discuss the classification and composition of tensor transposes. Properties of tensor transpose are studied in relation to tensor multiplication, tensor eigenvalues, tensor decompositions ...

A Bioinformatics Approach for Detecting Repetitive Nested Motifs using Pattern Matching [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
The identification of nested motifs in genomic sequences is a complex computational problem. The detection of these patterns is important to allow discovery of transposable element (TE) insertions, incomplete reverse transcripts, deletions, and/or ...

Targeting KMT5C Suppresses Lung Cancer Progression and Enhances the Efficacy of Immunotherapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study reveals that KMT5C activates DNA damage repair to inhibit STING‐IRF3 pathway, downstream type I IFN signaling and CCL5 secretion, leading to the downregulation of CD8+ T cell infiltration and function in NSCLC, ultimately facilitating tumor progression.

The genomic diversification of grapevine clones. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
BACKGROUND:Vegetatively propagated clones accumulate somatic mutations. The purpose of this study was to better appreciate clone diversity and involved defining the nature of somatic mutations throughout the genome.

Ultralow‐Dimensionality Reduction for Identifying Critical Transitions by Spatial‐Temporal PCA

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The proposed spatial‐temporal principal component analysis (stPCA) method analytically reduces high‐dimensional time‐series data to a single latent variable by transforming spatial information into temporal dynamics. By preserving the temporal properties of the original data, stPCA effectively identifies critical transitions and tipping points.

Unified Kernel-Segregated Transpose Convolution Operation [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv
The optimization of the transpose convolution layer for deep learning applications is achieved with the kernel segregation mechanism. However, kernel segregation has disadvantages, such as computing extra elements to obtain the output feature map with odd dimensions while launching a thread.
