Approche probabiliste des milieux poreux hétérogènes ou fracturés en relation avec les écoulements diphasiques Probabilistic Approach to Heterogeneous Or Fractured Porous Media in Relation to Two-Phase Flows

open access: yesOil & Gas Science and Technology, 2006
La prise en compte des particularités structurales des gisements pétroliers fracturés ou hétérogènes est nécessaire à l'amélioration des prévisions de production.

Applying Model Driven Engineering Techniques and Tools to the Planets Game Learning Scenario

open access: yesJournal of Interactive Media in Education, 2007
CPM (Cooperative Problem-Based learning Metamodel) is a visual language for the instructional design of Problem-Based Learning (PBL) situations. This language is a UML profile implemented on top of the Objecteering UML Case tool.

Infrared laser sampling of low volumes combined with shotgun lipidomics reveals lipid markers in palatine tonsil carcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Nanosecond infrared laser (NIRL) low‐volume sampling combined with shotgun lipidomics uncovers distinct lipidome alterations in oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (OPSCC) of the palatine tonsil. Several lipid species consistently differentiate tumor from healthy tissue, highlighting their potential as diagnostic markers.

Assemblies Across Borders: The Democratic Transposition of Citizens’ Assemblies in Latin America

open access: yesJournal of Deliberative Democracy
We propose the concept of democratic transposition to describe how democratic innovations travel and take root in regions, countries, and contexts different from those in which they originated.

Targeting p38α in cancer: challenges, opportunities, and emerging strategies

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
p38α normally regulates cellular stress responses and homeostasis and suppresses malignant transformation. In cancer, however, p38α is co‐opted to drive context‐dependent proliferation and dissemination. p38α also supports key functions in cells of the tumor microenvironment, including fibroblasts, myeloid cells, and T lymphocytes.

Prediction of Global Solar Irradiance on Parallel Rows of Tilted Surfaces Including the Effect of Direct and Anisotropic Diffuse Shading

open access: yesEnergies
Solar photovoltaic power plants typically consist of rows of solar panels, where the accurate estimation of solar irradiance on inclined surfaces significantly impacts energy generation. Existing practices often only account for the first row, neglecting

Correlation of the differential expression of PIK3R1 and its spliced variant, p55α, in pan‐cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
PIK3R1 undergoes alternative splicing to generate the isoforms, p85α and p55α. By combining large patient datasets with laboratory experiments, we show that PIK3R1 spliced variants shape cancer behavior. While tumors lose the protective p85α isoform, p55α is overexpressed, changes linked to poorer survival and more pronounced in African American ...

Image as “Product”: Procedures for Forming and Communicating Thoughts

open access: yesProceedings, 2017
In the world of images it is interesting to examine the relationship existing between the visual dimension of a thought and its material transposition. The efficacy with which images are used in various fields of knowledge is an incentive to investigate ...

Basroparib inhibits YAP‐driven cancers by stabilizing angiomotin

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Basroparib, a selective tankyrase inhibitor, suppresses Wnt signaling and attenuates YAP‐driven oncogenic programs by stabilizing angiomotin. It promotes AMOT–YAP complex formation, enforces cytoplasmic YAP sequestration, inhibits YAP/TEAD transcription, and sensitizes YAP‐active cancers, including KRAS‐mutant colorectal cancer, to MEK inhibition.
