Design and Construction of Inductive Compensation for Extra-High-Voltage Transmission Line Models of Physical Laboratory of Electric Power Systems

open access: yesEngineering Proceedings
The implementation of inductive compensation in the two-scale models of the extra-high-voltage transmission line, without and with transposition, of the Physical Laboratory of Electric Power Systems (PLEPS) is presented.

ESR1 methylation and ESR1 mutations in circulating tumor cells (CTCs) and paired plasma‐cfDNA of advanced breast cancer patients: A feasibility proof‐of‐concept study

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Circulating tumor cells (CTCs) and plasma cell‐free DNA (cfDNA) were analyzed to detect ESR1 mutations and methylation in patients with advanced breast cancer. CTC‐derived DNA showed higher sensitivity for mutation detection and revealed complementary genetic and epigenetic alterations, highlighting the added value of CTC analysis for understanding ...

Transposition des rendements

open access: yes, 1959
Transposition of efficiencies. After a reminder of the importance and necessity of efficiency transpositions between the models and prototypes of low head turbines, the Author briefly examines and compares the most commonly applied formulae.

Interpreting the effects of DNA polymerase variants at the structural level

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Using MAVISp and molecular dynamics simulations, we analyzed over 60 000 missense variants in POLE and POLD1 from ClinVar, COSMIC, cBioPortal, and saturation mutagenesis. Identified mechanistic indicators, including stability, binding, and long‐range, enable structural interpretation, providing ACMG‐like evidence for possible reclassification of VUS ...

Semiotic model of transposition and its figures.

open access: yes
Can the language of semiotic theory be entirely objective and semantically neutral? Why, alongside conceptual and scientific terminology, do elements appear that semioticians themselves might call "appearances of the natural world"?

Metastasis on pause: How dormant tumor cells stay hidden within the tumor microenvironment and evade immune surveillance

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Dormant cancer cells can hide in distant organs for years, evading treatment and the immune system. This review highlights how signals from the surrounding tissue and immune environment keep these cells inactive or trigger their reawakening. Understanding these mechanisms may help develop therapies to eliminate or control dormant cells and prevent ...

The CIS-Required DNA Sequences for Bacteriophage Mu DNA Transposition and Maturation

open access: yes, 1986
Transposable elements are stretches of discrete DNA segments capable of rec-A independent translocation while maintaining their physical and functional integrityThe DNA of temperate bacteriophage Mu embodies the properties of both a tnasposable element ...

Circulating tumor cell viability during and after radiotherapy mirrors treatment response in cancer patients

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Radiotherapy (RT) response depends on the DNA repair capacity of tumor and host cells. We show that circulating tumor cell (CTC) counts and apoptosis rates before and after RT predict treatment response and outcome, which can be accessed via easily accessible liquid biopsy approaches. Created in BioRender. Wikman, H.
