Transversality in šŗ-manifolds

open access: yes, 1977
A definition of transversality is given for the category of G-manifolds (G, a compact Lie group). Transversality density and isotopy theorems are shown to hold for this definition. An example is given to show that we cannot require differential stability

Air‐Pressure–Actuated Vibroacoustic Metamaterial With Tunable Bandgap: Design, Modeling, and Characterization

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
This article presents the design, modeling, and characterization of air‐pressure–actuated programmable vibroacoustic metamaterials (PVAMM). The study focuses on leveraging air pressure to dynamically tune resonance frequencies for effective noise attenuation.

Post-trans-meta: k pojmové analýze posthumanismu

open access: yesFilosofický časopis
Posthumanism is presented in this text as a problem and analyzed from a conceptual level, which includes other related concepts such as anthropocentrism, humanism and the Anthropocene, and especially at the level of prefixes, i.e.

A postfoundational ubuntu accepts the unwelcomed (by way of ļæ½processļæ½ transversality)

open access: yesVerbum et Ecclesia, 2017
This examination of ubuntu is engaged in a conversation with the speculative philosophy of organism ( process ) to acquire an extended tool by which to engage within its ontology the widest possible range of human interaction.

Transverse Myelitis

open access: yesNeurologic Clinics, 2013
Transverse myelitis (TM) includes a pathobiologically heterogeneous syndrome characterized by acute or subacute spinal cord dysfunction resulting in paresis, a sensory level, and autonomic (bladder, bowel, and sexual) impairment below the level of the lesion.

Composition‐Tuned Enhancement of the Anomalous Nernst Effect in FeCo–Pt Thin Films on Rigid and Flexible Substrates

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Disordered (Fe50Co50)1āˆ’xPtx thin films exhibit a pronounced anomalous Nernst effect (ANE) with a strong composition dependence on both rigid and flexible substrates. The transverse thermoelectric response peaks near 22.5 at.% Pt, accompanied by enhanced αxy/σxy scaling, thermal transport, and ANE sensitivity.

Transversality Conditions and Dynamic Economic Behavior [PDF]

open access: yes
Transversality conditions are optimality conditions often used along with Euler equations to characterize the optimal paths of dynamic economic models. This article explains the foundations of transversality conditions using a geometric example, a finite

On the transversality conditions and their genericity [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
. In this note we review some results on the transversality conditions for a smooth Fredholm map f: X Ɨ (0, T) → Y between two Banach spaces X,Y. These conditions are well-known in the realm of bifurcation theory and commonly accepted as ā€œgenericā€.

ESSENTIAL CHARACTERISTICS OF AN ERP SYSTEM : CONCEPTUALIZATION AND OPERATIONALIZATION

open access: yesJournal of Information and Organizational Sciences, 2012
The interest of firms in ERP systems has been echoed in both the scientific andprofessional literature. It is worth noting however that while this literature has becomeincreasingly abundant, there does not yet exist an operational definition of the ERP ...
