A case of early diagnosis of congenital multisystem langerhans cell histiocytosis with thymic involvement triggered by newborn screening

open access: yesImmunological Medicine
T-cell receptor excision circle (TREC)-based newborn screening is a method for the early detection of severe combined immunodeficiency (SCID); however, undetectable TREC level results have also been reported in conditions other than SCID.

Design Strategies and Emerging Applications of High‐Performance Flexible Piezoresistive Pressure Sensors

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Flexible piezoresistive pressure sensors underpin wearable and soft electronics. This review links sensing physics, including contact resistance modulation, quantum tunneling and percolation, to unified materials/structure design. We highlight composite and graded architectures, interfacial/porous engineering, and microstructured 3D conductive networks

Severe congenital T-lymphocytopenia may affect the outcome of neonatal intensive care

open access: yesBiomedical Papers
Aim. Circular DNA segments TREC (T-cell receptor excision circles) formed during T-lymphocyte maturation in the thymus, are a sensitive marker of thymic lymphocyte production in a broader manner.

Reinforcement of Cathode Interface Using a Dipolar Small Molecule for Enhancing Operational Stability of Perovskite Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We report a high‐dipole interlayer, MQPPO, that simultaneously improves efficiency and stability in perovskite solar cells. Its strong interfacial dipole enhances photovoltaic performance, while its uniform coverage and strong interaction with Ag effectively suppress AgI formation, ensuring long‐term stability under moisture and thermal stress.
