Friction and Wear Behavior of Laser-Induced Graphene Structures on Polyimide Films. [PDF]
This study presents an investigation into the friction and wear behavior of laser‐induced graphene (LIG). Introducing line patterns of different sizes with this laser scribing approach results in a lowering of the coefficient of friction. The gradual wear of the protruding LIG patterns and the formation of wear debris are explored.

Self-Lubricating Tribo-Catalytic Activity of 2D High Entropy Alloy Nanoflakes. [PDF]
The 2D high entropy alloy (HEA) of (MoWNbTaV)0.2S2 is synthesized and investigated through ball‐on‐disk friction experiments. The unprecedentedly low average coefficients of friction (0.076) and wear rates (10−9 mm3 (N∙m)−1) under high contact pressures (0.936 GPa) within ambient conditions are demonstrated.

This work details a new method of atomic force microscopy (AFM)‐based lithography which utilizes a new chemical phenomenon of “frequency enhanced electrochemical pressure solution” (a.k.a. “FEEPS”) that greatly enhances the rate of silica dissolution under an oscillating AFM tip undergoing tapping in pure water.
