Trimethoprim resistant dihydrofolate reductases in normal faecal flora isolated in India
A high incidence of resistance to trimethoprim has been shown in the normal faecal flora in a population in south India. The dihydrofolate reductase (dhfr) genes mediating transferable resistance to trimethoprim have been identified.

Potent monoclonal antibodies against multidrug‐resistant hypervirulent Klebsiella pneumoniae
A novel immunization strategy using a low‐virulence, multidrug‐resistant strain yields synergistic monoclonal antibodies against hypervirulent Klebsiella pneumoniae. These antibodies provide cross‐serotype protection through a dual‐mechanism of pathogen clearance and immunomodulation, offering a promising non‐antibiotic therapeutic for resistant ...

Dasatinib and quercetin prevent alveolar bone loss in aged mice
Abstract Background Recent findings have associated alveolar bone loss (ABL) with the presence of senescent cells. Aging and the accumulation of senescent cells are associated with a pro‐inflammatory environment which may exacerbate tissue damage.

Abstract Infantile‐onset inflammatory bowel disease (IOIBD) is a rare and severe subset of very‐early‐onset IBD, often associated with immune dysregulation and poor response to conventional therapies. Data regarding the use of Janus kinase inhibitors (JAKI) in this population is limited.

Spectrophotometric Estimation of Trimethoprim By Charge Transfer Complex Formation Reaction
A new simple method is proposed for the spectrophotometric estimation of trimethoprim drug (TMP), depending on the formation of an n-π charge transfer complex between TMP acting as n-donor and o-chloranil acting as π-acceptor in ethanolic ...

Factors associated with trimethoprim-resistant bacteria isolated from urine samples
Urine samples with trimethoprim-resistant or trimethoprim-sensitive Gram-negative bacteria and samples with no bacterial growth (NG) were identified. Age-sex matched community controls were generated with each trimethoprim-resistant case.
