Inhibitory effect of calotropis gigantea extract on ovalbumin-induced airway inflammation and arachidonic acid induced inflammation in a murine model of asthma [PDF]
The root of Calotropis gigantea has been reported as a traditional folkloric medicine in treatment of asthma in the Indian literature. Root contain α-and β-amyrin are reported to possess anti-lipoxygenase activity.

Acutaxylines A and B, two novel triterpenes from Dysoxylum acutangulum [PDF]
Two novel triterpenes, acutaxylines A (1) and B (2) consisting of a cyclopentenone side chain at C-17 and an oxepan-2-ol, were isolated from the leaves of Dysoxylum acutangulum. The relative stereochemistry of 1 and 2 was determined by NOESY correlations.

Triterpene saponins fromMyrsine pellucida
Quercitol, five saponins and 3-O-(6'-O-palmitoyl) beta-D-glucopyranosyl stigmasterol were isolated from the stem bark of Myrisine pellucida. These compounds are described for the first time in this plant and their structures were determined using a combination of 1H and 13C NMR, and mass spectroscopy.

Teucrium polium shows antidiabetic activity with its phytochemical composition and biological activities. The essential oil is rich in carvacrol, thymol, γ‐terpinene, and o‐cymene, while the aqueous and hydroethanolic extracts are characterized by poliumoside, verbascoside, isorhamnetin‐3‐O‐rutinoside, and apigenin‐7‐rutinoside. Antioxidant activity is

Triterpene glycosides from Agrostemma gracilis
Four triterpene saponins, agrostemmosides A-D were isolated from the methanol extract of Agrostemma gracilis. The structures of the compounds were determined as 3-O-beta-D-xylopyranosyloleanolic acid 28-O-beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1-->2)-[beta-D-xylopyranosyl-(1-->6)]-beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1-->6)-beta-D-glucopyranosyl ester, 3-O-alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl ...

Harnessing Natural Compounds in Psoriasis: Targeting Cellular Pathways for Effective Therapy
Natural compounds act on key cellular pathways in psoriasis by suppressing keratinocyte hyperproliferation, modulating Th17/IL‐17‐mediated immune responses, and reducing oxidative stress. These multi‐target effects highlight their potential as safer adjunctive therapies alongside conventional treatments.
