Immunoreactivity for CD34, Desmin, Keratins, KIT, Alpha‐Smooth Muscle Actin, S100, and Vimentin in Malignant Mesenchymal Neoplasms in Guinea Pigs: A Series of 62 Cases From a Single Institution

open access: yesVeterinary Medicine and Science, Volume 12, Issue 2, March 2026.
Immunohistochemical expression of CD34, desmin, keratin AE1/AE3, keratin 8/18, KIT, SMA, S100, and vimentin in normal guinea pig skin serving as both positive and negative external tissue control. All images immunohistochemical staining, 200× magnification, scale bar 100 µm. (A) CD34 stained only vascular endothelium (arrow).

Placental Protein Release and Uptake From the Fetal Circulation in Healthy Term Pregnancies—A Human In Vivo Exploratory Study

open access: yesThe FASEB Journal, Volume 40, Issue 3, 15 February 2026.
Fetal‐placental communication was explored by comparing protein abundances in paired umbilical artery and vein samples, using the SomaLogic 5000‐plex platform. 766 proteins were identified as released by the placenta, largely supported by placental gene expression patterns reported in transcriptomic studies.

Bisphenol B Exposure Induces Miscarriage by Suppressing Migration/Invasion and Migrasome Formation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 7, 3 February 2026.
BPB (Bisphenol B) exposure up‐regulates ER (estrogen receptor) levels, enhances its interactions with the lnc‐HZ04 promoter region, and thus promotes ER‐mediated lnc‐HZ04 transcription. Subsequently, lnc‐HZ04 suppresses TCF4 (transcription factor 4)‐mediated PKCA (protein kinase C alpha) transcription and subsequently suppresses migration/invasion and ...

Depletion of Sorcs3 Activates Totipotency in Mouse Embryonic Stem Cells by Modulating Key Signaling Pathways

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 7, 3 February 2026.
In this article, Shuai and colleagues found that depletion of Sorcs3 could activate totipotency in mESCs, promising bidirectional differentiation potential to embryonic and extraembryonic lineages. The underlying mechanism might be activation of Tfap2c and repression of TGF‐β, PI3K‐AKT, and lysosome pathways.
