A critical role of tropomyosins in TGF-beta regulation of the actin cytoskeleton and cell motility in epithelial cells [PDF]
We have investigated transforming growth factor beta (TGF-beta)-mediated induction of actin stress fibers in normal and metastatic epithelial cells. We found that stress fiber formation requires de novo protein synthesis, p38Mapk and Smad signaling.

ABSTRACT Multiple imputation is increasingly being used to deal with missing data in clinical trials. It is a simulation approach leading to multiple analyses of a pre‐defined number of datasets. For a pre‐defined statistical model, this is relatively straightforward, but for model development as typically conducted in Pharmacometrics, it is unclear ...

Crosstalk Between Brain-Derived Neurotrophic Factor And N-Methyl-D-Aspartate Receptor Signaling In Neurons [PDF]
Glutamate is the major excitatory neurotransmitter in brain exerting prosurvival effect on neurons via N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor (NMDAR) signaling under physiological conditions.

Transcriptomic and cellular analyses of BubR1 hypomorphic hearts reveal disruptions in key pathways and upregulation of markers linked to impaired cardiac structure and function. Comparative transcriptomic analysis shows that BubR1 insufficiency mirrors changes seen in aged and failing hearts. A key finding of this study is that BubR1 levels decline in

Innovative pharmacotherapy for hepatic metabolic and chronic inflammatory diseases in China
Abstract Liver disease constitutes a significant global health concern, particularly in China where it has distinctive characteristics. China grapples with a staggering 300 million cases, predominantly due to hepatitis B and metabolic non‐alcoholic fatty liver disease. Additionally, hepatocellular carcinoma has become a prevalent which is a lethal type
