Molecular determinants of PKA-dependent inhibition of TRPC5 channel
American Journal of Physiology-Cell Physiology, 2011Canonical transient receptor potential (TRPC) channels are Ca2+-permeable, nonselective cation channels that are widely expressed in numerous cell types. Here, we demonstrate a new mechanism of TPRC isofom 5 (TRPC5) regulation, via cAMP signaling via Gαs.

Buněčné a molekulární mechanizmy regulace TRPC5 receptoru
2022The TRPC5 ion channel is a molecular cold detector involved in the development of neuro- pathic and inflammatory pain in the peripheral nervous system. Its possible involvement in the mechanisms of the development of cold allodynia emerging as a side effect of chemotherapeutic treatment has not yet been investigated.
