A High‐Speed True Random Number Generator Based on a CuxTe1−x Diffusive Memristor

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, 2021
Herein, a true random number generator (TRNG) based on a CuxTe1−x diffusive memristor (DM) using its threshold switching (TS) behavior is reported. The intrinsic stochasticity of the TS behavior contributes to the randomness of the TRNG system.

Stock Repurchase Agreements: Close Corporation Use of Designee Provision Permits Repurchase Despite Insufficient Earned Surplus [PDF]

open access: yes, 1971
Statistical random number testing is a well studied field focusing on pseudo-random number generators, that is to say algorithms that produce random-looking sequences of numbers.

EDNRB‐dependent endothelin signaling reduces proliferation and promotes proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition in gliomas

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Glioma cells mainly express the endothelin receptor EDNRB, while EDNRA is restricted to a perivascular tumor subpopulation. Endothelin signaling reduces glioma cell proliferation while promoting migration and a proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition associated with poor prognosis. This pathway activates Ca2+, K+, ERK, and STAT3 signalings and is regulated

True Random Number Generators Using Electrical Noise [PDF]

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
True random number generators (TRNGs) are a fundamental resource in information security and can guarantee the absolute security of information in principle. Entropy source is the most critical part of TRNGs, which provides the unpredictability and is the root of security for TRNGs.

Astronomical random numbers for quantum foundations experiments [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
Photons from distant astronomical sources can be used as a classical source of randomness to improve fundamental tests of quantum nonlocality, wave-particle duality, and local realism through Bell's inequality and delayed-choice quantum eraser tests ...

Interrogating the immune landscape of microsatellite stable RAS‐mutated colon cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
COLOSSUS project RAS‐mutated MSS colon cancer study explored transcriptomics and immune cell density by immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunoscore (IS), ISIC/TuLIS scores, mutation counts, and detected different prevalences but similar microenvironment composition across immune markers with clinical relevance for future immunotherapy combination ...

Nano-Intrinsic True Random Number Generation

open access: yes, 2017
Recent advances in predictive data analytics and ever growing digitalization and connectivity with explosive expansions in industrial and consumer Internet-of-Things (IoT) has raised significant concerns about security of people's identities and data. It has created close to ideal environment for adversaries in terms of the amount of data that could be

Hybrid quantum random number generator for cryptographic algorithms

open access: yesРадіоелектронні і комп'ютерні системи, 2021
The subject matter of the article is pseudo-random number generators. Random numbers play the important role in cryptography. Using not secure pseudo-random number generators is a very common weakness.

Quantum Randomness Certified by the Uncertainty Principle

open access: yes, 2014
We present an efficient method to extract the amount of true randomness that can be obtained by a Quantum Random Number Generator (QRNG). By repeating the measurements of a quantum system and by swapping between two mutually unbiased bases, a lower bound

On the assumption of mutual independence of jitter realizations in P-TRNG stochastic models [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
International audienceSecurity in true random number generation in cryptography is based on entropy per bit at the generator output. The entropy is evaluated using stochastic models.
