Prognostic value of tumor budding in muscle-invasive urothelial carcinoma of the bladder

open access: yesJournal of the Egyptian National Cancer Institute
Background Bladder cancer is a common malignancy of the urogenital tract worldwide. Almost 20–30% of new cases are muscle-invasive, a complex pathology with significant clinical and biological variability.

PENGARUH PEMBERIAN ECHINACEA TERHADAP PERBEDAAN EKSPRESI GRANZYME DAN PERKEMBANGAN MASSA TUMOR PADA ADENOKARSINOMA MAMMA MENCIT C3H YANG MENGALAMI STRESS [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
Echinacea contains some active compounds which could induce mononuclear cells activiy. Patients with breast carcinoma and stress, the immunity was depress. Echinacea will increase mononuclear cell granzyme expression.

β‐TrCP overexpression enhances cisplatin sensitivity by depleting BRCA1

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Low levels of β‐TrCP (Panel A) allow the accumulation of BRCA1 and CtIP, which facilitate the repair of cisplatin‐induced DNA damage via homologous recombination (HR) and promote tumor cell survival. In contrast, high β‐TrCP expression (Panel B) leads to BRCA1 and CtIP degradation, impairing HR repair, resulting in persistent DNA damage and apoptosis ...

Research status of self-seeding by circulating tumor cells in tumor progression

open access: yesKouqiang hemian waike zazhi
Self-seeding, a distinct biological behavior of circulating tumor cells (CTCs), is prevalent in many malignant tumors and closely linked to tumor progression.

Neoadjuvant anti-PD-1 immunotherapy promotes a survival benefit with intratumoral and systemic immune responses in recurrent glioblastoma. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
Glioblastoma is the most common primary malignant brain tumor in adults and is associated with poor survival. The Ivy Foundation Early Phase Clinical Trials Consortium conducted a randomized, multi-institution clinical trial to evaluate immune responses ...

CD147 Is a Promising Target of Tumor Progression and a Prognostic Biomarker

open access: yesCancers, 2019
Microenvironment plays a crucial role in tumor development and progression. Cancer cells modulate the tumor microenvironment, which also contribute to resistance to therapy.

PARP inhibitors elicit distinct transcriptional programs in homologous recombination competent castration‐resistant prostate cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
PARP inhibitors are used to treat a small subset of prostate cancer patients. These studies reveal that PARP1 activity and expression are different between European American and African American prostate cancer tissue samples. Additionally, different PARP inhibitors cause unique and overlapping transcriptional changes, notably, p53 pathway upregulation.
