Anti‐PD‐1 Nanobody‐Armored MSLN CAR‐T Therapy for Malignant Mesothelioma: Preclinical and Clinical Studies
Advanced Science, EarlyView.A novel therapy using engineered immune cells (NAC‐T cells) showed promise for refractory malignant mesothelioma. Based on the encouraging preclinical data, the first‐in‐human trial is initiated, demonstrating tolerable safety and promising anti‐tumor activity (ORR 63.6%, DCR 100%, including one CR).Yan Sun, Haochen Yang, Qing Xu, Xingya Li, Jinxing Lou, Jianchun Duan, Jiachen Xu, Zhuqing Liu, Yong Xia, Zhicai Lin, Linlin Li, Dan Sun, Jiaguo Li, Tao Liu, Jun Guo, Wenfeng Xu, Weimin Zhu, Yi Liu, Boyang Sun, Jia Zhong, Lijie Rong, Qijun Qian, Chenqi Xu, Jie Wang +23 morewiley +1 more sourceExclusive Breastfeeding Drives AMPK‐Dependent Thermogenic Memory in BAT and Promotes Long‐Term Metabolic Benefits in Offspring
Advanced Science, EarlyView.Exclusive breastfeeding establishes a thermogenic memory in brown adipose tissue by activating the HIF1AN/AMPK/α‐ketoglutarate axis via milk‐derived extracellular vesicles enriched in miR‐125a‐5p. This programming preserves metabolic health, while αKG supplementation restores BAT function under mixed feeding, offering strategies to mitigate the ...Ningxi Wu, Anwen Yin, Xiang Yu, Mingxin Wang, Jiahui Zhang, Kerong Liu, Yutong Hou, Minkai Cao, Yiting Zhang, Xiaoxiao Zhang, Yao Gao, Xirong Guo, Le Zhang, Yun Li +13 morewiley +1 more sourceInactivation of AXL in Cardiac Fibroblasts Alleviates Right Ventricular Remodeling in Pulmonary Hypertension
Advanced Science, EarlyView.Pulmonary hypertension (PH) is a progressive condition with high morbidity and mortality, largely owing to right ventricular (RV) failure resulting from maladaptive remodeling. Our study provides strong evidence in support of a critical, detrimental role for AXL as a previously unrecognized determinant driving RV fibrotic pathology in PH.Li‐Wei Wu, Min Chen, Chen‐Yu Jiang, Dai‐Ji Jiang, Xu Zhang, Xiao‐He Xu, Yi‐Wei Liu, Bei Feng, Lin‐Cai Ye, Yang‐Yang He, Xu Huang, Yi‐Chi Zhang, Xing‐Liang Zhou, Yi Shen, Tian‐Yu Liu, Li‐Jun Fu, Yi Yan, Hao Zhang +17 morewiley +1 more sourceErythrocyte Antibodies in AIDS are associated with mycobacteriosis and hypergammaglobulinemia [PDF]

Advanced Science, EarlyView.Cinnamic‐hydroxamic‐acid derivatives (CHADs) are identified as novel inhibitors of the bacterial nucleoid‐associated protein HU, exhibiting potent antibacterial, anti‐biofilm (both inhibition and eradication), and DNA relaxation (anti‐supercoiling) activities. Moreover, CHADs demonstrate strong synergistic effects with multiple antibiotics.Huan Chen, Yingqi Xu, Zhaoping Xiong, Hongliang Wang, Xin Wang, Yue Kang, Zhonglin Wang, Xiaoyan Zeng, Yahui Liu, Yehuan Zheng, Wei Chen, Mengzhe Li, Zhenyue Hu, Chi Xu, Yue Wu, Yawen Wang, Zuyi Yuan, Shuai Yuan, Huadong Liu, Steve Matthews, Nan Qiao, Yan Li, Bing Liu +22 morewiley +1 more sourceTLR agonists as adjuvants for viral vaccines: mechanisms, applications, and future directions.
