Small- and Large-scale Characterization and Mixing Properties in a Thermally Driven Thin Liquid Film
Thin liquid films are nanoscopic elements of foams, emulsions and suspensions, and form a paradigm for nanochannel transport that eventually test the limits of hydrodynamic descriptions.

Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

COMP–PMEPA1 axis promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition in breast cancer cells
This study reveals that cartilage oligomeric matrix protein (COMP) promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition (EMT) in breast cancer. We identify PMEPA1 (protein TMEPAI) as a novel COMP‐binding partner that mediates EMT via binding to the TSP domains of COMP, establishing the COMP–PMEPA1 axis as a key EMT driver in breast cancer.

Free turbulent mixing in a coflowing stream [PDF]
The major points are described of a turbulent transport model of the classical, gradient transport, eddy viscosity type. The relationship is discussed of the developed model to the Prandtl (jet mixing) model, the Schlichting (wake) model, and the Clauser

Magnetic Reconnection and Turbulent Mixing: From ISM to Clusters of Galaxies
Magnetic reconnection, or the ability of the magnetic field lines that are frozen in plasma to change their topology, is a fundamental problem of magnetohydrodynamics (MHD). We briefly examine the problem starting with the well-known Sweet-Parker scheme,

Experimental studies of Reynolds number dependence of turbulent mixing and transport [PDF]
Predicting turbulent mixing and transport remains a critical problem in industrial flows (combustion chambers, mixers, ventillation systems etc.) and in the environment (smoke plumes etc.). The mixing and transport processes are often a strong function of Reynolds number (Re) and yet there is a paucity of information on their Re dependence.

Loss of the miR‐214/199a cluster is associated with recurrence in ovarian cancer. Engineered small extracellular vesicles (m214‐sEVs) elevate miR‐214‐3p/miR‐199a‐5p in tumor cells, suppress β‐catenin, TLR4, and YKT6 signaling, reprogram tumor‐derived sEV cargo, reduce chemoresistance and migration, and enhance carboplatin efficacy and survival in ...

Transient formation of the passive scalar spectrum at a turbulent interface [PDF]
We consider the transport of a passive scalar through the turbulent-turbulent interface between two decaying isotropic turbulent flows with different kinetic energy.

Keratin 19 (KRT19) is overexpressed in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer with high levels of Kallikrein‐related peptidases (KLK) 4–7 and is associated with poor survival. In vivo analyses demonstrate that elevated KRT19 increases peritoneal tumour burden.
