ABJM quantum spectral curve and Mellin transform

open access: yes, 2018
The present techniques for the perturbative solution of quantum spectral curve problems in N=4 SYM and ABJM models are limited to the situation when the states quantum numbers are given explicitly as some integer numbers.

Organoids in pediatric cancer research

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Organoid technology has revolutionized cancer research, yet its application in pediatric oncology remains limited. Recent advances have enabled the development of pediatric tumor organoids, offering new insights into disease biology, treatment response, and interactions with the tumor microenvironment.

On a higher-order evolution equation with a Stepanov-bounded solution

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 2004
We study strong solutions u:ℝ→X, a Banach space X, of the nth-order evolution equation u(n)−Au(n−1)=f, an infinitesimal generator of a strongly continuous group A:D(A)⊆X→X, and a given forcing term f:ℝ→X.

Remark on the Cauchy problem for the evolution p-Laplacian equation

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications, 2017
In this paper, we prove that the semigroup S ( t ) $S(t)$ generated by the Cauchy problem of the evolution p-Laplacian equation ∂ u ∂ t − div ( | ∇ u | p − 2 ∇ u ) = 0 $\frac{\partial u}{\partial t}-\operatorname{div}(|\nabla u|^{p-2}\nabla u)=0$ ( p > 2

Kondo Signatures of a Quantum Magnetic Impurity in Topological Superconductors

open access: yes, 2019
We study the Kondo physics of a quantum magnetic impurity in two-dimensional topological superconductors (TSCs), either intrinsic or induced on the surface of a bulk topological insulator, using a numerical renormalization group technique.

Reciprocal control of viral infection and phosphoinositide dynamics

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Phosphoinositides, although scarce, regulate key cellular processes, including membrane dynamics and signaling. Viruses exploit these lipids to support their entry, replication, assembly, and egress. The central role of phosphoinositides in infection highlights phosphoinositide metabolism as a promising antiviral target.

First Detection of X-Ray Polarization in Galactic Ultraluminous X-Ray Pulsar Swift J0243.6+6124 with IXPE

open access: yesThe Astrophysical Journal Letters
We report the results of first ever spectropolarimetric analyses of the Galactic ultraluminous X-ray pulsar Swift J0243.6+6124 during the 2023 outburst using quasi-simultaneous IXPE, NICER, and NuSTAR observations.

Spatiotemporal and quantitative analyses of phosphoinositides – fluorescent probe—and mass spectrometry‐based approaches

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Fluorescent probes allow dynamic visualization of phosphoinositides in living cells (left), whereas mass spectrometry provides high‐sensitivity, isomer‐resolved quantitation (right). Their synergistic use captures complementary aspects of lipid signaling. This review illustrates how these approaches reveal the spatiotemporal regulation and quantitative

The newfound relationship between extrachromosomal DNAs and excised signal circles

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Extrachromosomal DNAs (ecDNAs) contribute to the progression of many human cancers. In addition, circular DNA by‐products of V(D)J recombination, excised signal circles (ESCs), have roles in cancer progression but have largely been overlooked. In this Review, we explore the roles of ecDNAs and ESCs in cancer development, and highlight why these ...

Low Altitude Airspace: how enterprises discover a new business dimension

open access: yesGEOmedia, 2019
The development of Low Altitude Airspace activities is a great opportunity for many companies. Work carried out by drones (inspections, surveillance and control, mapping etc.) will be supported by other new activities and services that will pave the way ...
