Characterization of UDP-glucosyltransferase from Indigofera tinctoria
Indican is a secondary metabolite in Indigofera tinctoria; its synthesis from indoxyl and UDP-glucose is catalyzed by a UDP-glucosyltransferase (UGT). In this study, we partially purified UGT extracted from I. tinctoria leaves and analyzed the protein by peptide mass fingerprinting.

Sucrose-udp glucosyltransferase of Zea mays endosperm
Phytochemistry, 1974Abstract The synthetic and degradative activities toward sucrose of maize (Zea mays L.) endosperm sucrose-UDP glucosyltransferase preparations behave differently in several respects. Mg 2+ or Ca 2+ stimulate the synthetic activity but inhibit the degradative activity.

Structure of the ecdysone glucoside formed by a baculovirus ecdysteroid UDP-glucosyltransferase
Insect Biochemistry, 1991Abstract The egt gene of the baculovirus Autographa californica nuclear polyhedrosis virus encodes an ecdysteroid UDP-glucosyltransferase. The glucoside formed by this enzyme using ecdysone and UDP-glucose as substrates has been purified and structurally characterized by nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy and by fast atom bombardment mass ...
