Unbalance compensator for three-phase industrial installations

open access: yes, 2011
[EN] This paper describes constitution, design and operation of a passive unbalance compensator for variable loads in three-phase industrial installations. Compensator is integrated by three-phase connections of variable coils and capacitors.

SVM classifier for telecom user arrears based on boundary samples-based under-sampling approaches

open access: yesDianxin kexue, 2017
Telecom users’ arrears forecasting is a classification problem of unbalanced data set.To deal with the problem that the traditional SVM on the unbalanced date set had a low detection accuracy of minority class,a novel method was proposed.Based on the ...

Sudden anaerobization in Amphibacillus xylanus increases intracellular labile ferrous iron and inhibits cell growth

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Abruptly changing from aerobic to anaerobic conditions (sudden anaerobization) induced growth inhibition and a significant increase in intracellular labile ferrous iron in the aerotolerant anaerobe Amphibacillus xylanus. We found that free flavins mediate efficient electron transfer from NADH to ferric iron under anaerobic conditions, suggesting that ...

Voltage unbalance reduction in low voltage feeders by dynamic switching of residential customers among three phases [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
Low voltage distribution feeders with large numbers of single–phase residential loads experience severe current unbalance that often causes voltage unbalance problems and additional losses.

Cyclic azapeptide CD36 ligand attenuates cardiac injury and reduces long‐chain fatty acid accumulation after myocardial ischemia–reperfusion in mice

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
In a murine model of myocardial ischemia and reperfusion (MI/R), the CD36 azapeptide ligand MPE‐298 reduces cardiac injury and transiently lowers left ventricular long‐chain fatty acids (LCFAs) accumulation 3 h after reperfusion, accompanied by a decrease of oxidative stress and inflammation‐associated genes' expression in the heart and adipose tissue.

Application and research of effective apparent power principle in apparent energy meters

open access: yesDiance yu yibiao
With the popularization of new types of electrical equipment, the load of the power system has become increasingly complex, and the nonlinear characteristics have become more prominent. However, the traditional definition of three-phase apparent power is

Three-Dimensional Identification for Unbalanced Mass of Rotor Systems in Operation

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2018
Unbalanced mass identification is important for rotor systems. Current methods normally use sensors, which only detect vibration in two-dimensional (2D) space. Actually, the rotor systems vibrate in three-dimensional directions.

Hyperosmotic stress‐induced redistribution of pre‐mRNA cleavage factor I subunits is associated with shifts in alternative polyadenylation

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Hyperosmotic stress triggers the relocation of the CFIm complex from the nucleus to the cytoplasm. This shift creates a nuclear ‘stoichiometric bottleneck’, limiting CFIm availability for mRNA processing. Consequently, specific mRNAs like NUDT21 and DICER1 undergo targeted 3′UTR shortening, demonstrating how spatial protein dynamics drive rapid ...

UAV Propeller: Fault Detection, Characterization, and Calibration: A Comprehensive Study

open access: yesIEEE Access
The growing use of Uncrewed Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) demands higher reliability and safety. Propeller faults are a major risk for small UAVs. Yet, many studies do not calibrate severity or test early faults that preserve nominal flight.
