In this explorative biomarker analysis, we assessed serial sampling of circulating tumor cells (CTCs) with CellSearch in two randomized trials testing immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) in metastatic breast cancer. Our data demonstrate a prognostic potential of CTCs, most apparent 4 weeks into ICI therapy.

Molecular and functional profiling unravels targetable vulnerabilities in colorectal cancer
We used whole exome and RNA‐sequencing to profile divergent genomic and transcriptomic landscapes of microsatellite stable (MSS) and microsatellite instable (MSI) colorectal cancer. Alterations were classified using a computational score for integrative cancer variant annotation and prioritization.

Uncertainty principles for the windowed Hankel transform [PDF]
The aim of this paper is to prove some new uncertainty principles for the windowed Hankel transform. They include uncertainty principle for orthonormal sequence, local uncertainty principle, logarithmic uncertainty principle and Heisenberg-type uncertainty principle.

There is an unmet need in metastatic breast cancer patients to monitor therapy response in real time. In this study, we show how a noninvasive and affordable strategy based on sequencing of plasma samples with longitudinal tracking of tumour fraction paired with a statistical model provides valuable information on treatment response in advance of the ...

Germline variants in CDKN2A wild‐type melanoma prone families
Among melanoma‐prone families, wild‐type for CDKN2A and CDK4, some have pathogenic variants in genes not usually linked to melanoma. Furthermore, rare XP‐related variants and variants in MC1R are enriched in such families. Germline pathogenic variants in CDKN2A are well established as an underlying cause of familial malignant melanoma. While pathogenic

A Direct Eulerian GRP Scheme for the Prediction of Gas-Liquid Two-Phase Flow in HTHP Transient Wells
A coupled system model of partial differential equations is presented in this paper, which concerns the variation of the pressure and temperature, velocity, and density at different times and depths in high temperature-high pressure (HTHP) gas-liquid two-

Ageing transitions in a network of Rulkov neurons
The phenomenon of ageing transitions (AT) in a Erdős–Rényi network of coupled Rulkov neurons is studied with respect to parameters modelling network connectivity, coupling strength and the fractional ratio of inactive neurons in the network.
