An extension of Tanner's results on uncontrolled intersections

The article is based on the work of \textit{J. C. Tanner} [Biometrika 49, 163-170 (1962; Zbl 0213.456)]. Tanner's arrival process is generalized and formulae for the average queueing time and service time are given.
