Legal Regulation of Foreign National's Labour in the EEU: Unification Issues

open access: yesМосковский журнал международного права, 2016
The Article problematizes the unification of the norms that regulate the cross-border employment in the Eurasian Economic Union. Analysis of the international agreements, comparison of the EEU members' legislation, as well as EEU acts specifies the ...

Sequence determinants of RNA G‐quadruplex unfolding by Arg‐rich regions

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We show that Arg‐rich peptides selectively unfold RNA G‐quadruplexes, but not RNA stem‐loops or DNA/RNA duplexes. This length‐dependent activity is inhibited by acidic residues and is conserved among SR and SR‐related proteins (SRSF1, SRSF3, SRSF9, U1‐70K, and U2AF1).

Gauge unification in noncommutative geometry

open access: yes, 2007
Gauge unification is widely considered to be a desirable feature for extensions of the standard model. Unfortunately the standard model itself does not exhibit a unification of its running gauge couplings but it is required by grand unified theories as ...

PICALM::MLLT10 translocated leukemia

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
This comprehensive review of PICALM::MLLT10 translocated acute leukemia provides an in‐depth review of the structure and function of CALM, AF10, and the fusion oncoprotein (1). The multifaceted molecular mechanisms of oncogenesis, including nucleocytoplasmic shuttling (2), epigenetic modifications (3), and disruption of endocytosis (4), are then ...

Newton's Idea and Practice of Unification [PDF]

open access: yes, 2004
In this paper I try to capture Newton's notion and practice of unification (I will mainly focus on the Principia). I will use contemporary theories on unification in philosophy of science as analytic tools (Kitcher, Schurz and Salmon).

Cell wall target fragment discovery using a low‐cost, minimal fragment library

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
LoCoFrag100 is a fragment library made up of 100 different compounds. Similarity between the fragments is minimized and 10 different fragments are mixed into a single cocktail, which is soaked to protein crystals. These crystals are analysed by X‐ray crystallography, revealing the binding modes of the bound fragment ligands.

The issue of Romania’s joining the First World War in the vision of the leaders of the political parties – the National Liberal Party and the Conservative Party

open access: yesTyragetia, 2017
Romania's entry into the First World War was preceded by fierce diplomatic battles between the two warring parties – the Entente and the Triple Alliance – regarding its involvement in the conflict on one side or the other.

Emergent Braided Matter of Quantum Geometry

open access: yesSymmetry, Integrability and Geometry: Methods and Applications, 2012
We review and present a few new results of the program of emergent matter as braid excitations of quantum geometry that is represented by braided ribbon networks.

Electroweak Symmetry Breaking and Bottom-Top Yukawa Unification

open access: yes, 1994
The condition of unification of gauge couplings in the minimal supersymmetric standard model provides successful predictions for the weak mixing angle as a function of the strong gauge coupling and the supersymmetric threshold scale. In addition, in some
