A unified diagrammatic approach to topological fixed point models
We introduce a systematic mathematical language for describing fixed point models and apply it to the study to topological phases of matter. The framework established is reminiscent to that of state-sum models and lattice topological quantum field ...

Remarks on Time-Space Noncommutative Field Theories [PDF]
We propose a physical interpretation of the perturbative breakdown of unitarity in time-like noncommutative field theories in terms of production of tachyonic particles.

Fractionalized topological defects in optical lattices
Topological objects are interesting topics in various fields of physics ranging from condensed matter physics to the grand unified and superstring theories. Among those, ultracold atoms provide a playground to study the complex topological objects.

Unified framework for calculating convex roof resource measures
Quantum resource theories (QRTs) provide a comprehensive and practical framework for the analysis of diverse quantum phenomena. A fundamental task within QRTs is the quantification of resources inherent in a given quantum state.

Approach to Quantum Kramers' Equation and Barrier Crossing Dynamics [PDF]
We have presented a simple approach to quantum theory of Brownian motion and barrier crossing dynamics. Based on an initial coherent state representation of bath oscillators and an equilibrium canonical distribution of quantum mechanical mean values of ...

Unified formalism for Thermal Quantum Field Theories: A geometric viewpoint [PDF]
In this paper we study a unified formalism for Thermal Quantum Field Theories, i.e., for the Matsubara approach, Thermo Field Dynamics and the Path Ordered Method. To do so, we employ a mechanism akin to the Hawking effect which explores a relationship between the concept of temperature and spacetimes endowed with event-horizons.

Meta‐transcriptome analysis identified FGF19 as a peptide enteroendocrine hormone associated with colorectal cancer prognosis. In vivo xenograft models showed release of FGF19 into the blood at levels that correlated with tumor volumes. Tumoral‐FGF19 altered murine liver metabolism through FGFR4, thereby reducing bile acid synthesis and increasing ...

Subsystem fidelity in two-dimensional conformal field theories
We investigate the short-interval expansion of the subsystem fidelity in two-dimensional conformal field theories (2D CFTs) using the operator product expansion (OPE) of twist operators.
