A Note on the Minimum Number of Edges in Hypergraphs with Property O
An oriented $k$-uniform hypergraph is said to have Property O if for every linear order of the vertex set, there is some edge oriented consistently with the linear order.

ABSTRACT Background Chronic kidney disease is a growing public health problem worldwide, and the number of patients requiring renal replacement therapy is steadily increasing. Türkiye has experienced a similar rise in both the incidence and prevalence of renal replacement therapy over the past decades; however, national‐level projections of future ...

Uniform descriptions of pseudospin symmetries in bound and resonant states
As a continuation of our previous work on the conservation and breaking of the pseudospin symmetry (PSS) in resonant states [Phys. Lett. B 847, 138320 (2023)], in this work, the PSS in nuclear single-particle bound and resonant states are investigated ...

Phonon bottleneck in GaAs/AlxGa1−xAs quantum dots
We report low-temperature photoluminescence measurements on highly-uniform GaAs/AlxGa1−xAs quantum dots grown by droplet epitaxy. Recombination between confined electrons and holes bound to carbon acceptors in the dots allow us to determine the energies ...

A novel control scheme, namely adaptive-adaptive robust (A2R) control is proposed for motion control of mechanical systems. The system contains uncertainty which is bounded while the bound may be unknown. Two designs of robust controls are proposed, with

Spectral gap lower bound for the one-dimensional fractional Schr\"odinger operator in the interval
We prove the uniform lower bound for the difference $\lambda_2 - \lambda_1$ between first two eigenvalues of the fractional Schr\"odinger operator, which is related to the Feynman-Kac semigroup of the symmetric $\alpha$-stable process killed upon leaving

This perspective highlights emerging insights into how the circadian transcription factor CLOCK:BMAL1 regulates chromatin architecture, cooperates with other transcription factors, and coordinates enhancer dynamics. We propose an updated framework for how circadian transcription factors operate within dynamic and multifactorial chromatin landscapes ...

Uniform Decay of Local Energy and the Semi-Linear Wave Equation on Schwarzchild Space
We provide a uniform decay estimate of Morawetz type for the local energy of general solutions to the inhomogeneous wave equation on a Schwarzchild background.

Time-uniform, nonparametric, nonasymptotic confidence sequences [PDF]
A confidence sequence is a sequence of confidence intervals that is uniformly valid over an unbounded time horizon. Our work develops confidence sequences whose widths go to zero, with nonasymptotic coverage guarantees under nonparametric conditions.

Time after time – circadian clocks through the lens of oscillator theory
Oscillator theory bridges physics and circadian biology. Damped oscillators require external drivers, while limit cycles emerge from delayed feedback and nonlinearities. Coupling enables tissue‐level coherence, and entrainment aligns internal clocks with environmental cues.
