In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.

Closed derivation on the unit square [PDF]
In this paper we extend Kurose's structure theorem to characterize a closed derivation in the algebra of continuous functions on the unit square, under the conditions that the range is the whole algebra and the kernel is the set of all functions depend only on the second variable, as a partial derivative with respect to signed measures on the unit ...

Structural insights into an engineered feruloyl esterase with improved MHET degrading properties
A feruloyl esterase was engineered to mimic key features of MHETase, enhancing the degradation of PET oligomers. Structural and computational analysis reveal how a point mutation stabilizes the active site and reshapes the binding cleft, expading substrate scope.

Minimal Tilings of a Unit Square [PDF]
Tile the unit square with $n$ small squares. We determine the minimum of the sum of the side lengths of the $n$ small squares, where the minimum is taken over all tilings of the unit square with $n$ squares.

Glioma cells mainly express the endothelin receptor EDNRB, while EDNRA is restricted to a perivascular tumor subpopulation. Endothelin signaling reduces glioma cell proliferation while promoting migration and a proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition associated with poor prognosis. This pathway activates Ca2+, K+, ERK, and STAT3 signalings and is regulated

DOUBLE COVERINGS AND UNIT SQUARE PROBLEMS FOR CYCLOTOMIC FIELDS
In this paper, using the theory of double coverings of cyclotomic fields, we give a formula for [Formula: see text], where K = ℚ(ζn), G = Gal (K/ℚ), 𝔽2 = ℤ/2ℤ and UK is the unit group of K.

The human pathogen, Schistosoma mansoni, lacks the cognate sequence for human telomerase reverse transcriptase (hTERT) and relies on the snail host, Biomphalaria glabrata homologous enzyme for its intra-molluscan development. [PDF]

ON-LINE COVERING THE UNIT SQUARE BY SQUARES AND THE THREE-DIMENSIONAL UNIT CUBE BY CUBES
Among others the following results are proved: The unit square can be on-line covered by every sequence of squares of the total area at least \(7/4 \cdot {\root 3 \of {9}} + 13/8 \cong 5.265\). The cube \(I^3\) permits an on-line covering by every sequence of three- dimensional cubes of the total volume at least \(143/32 + 3/8 \cdot (9/2)^{3/4} + 63/8 \
