Generation of near-optimal universal Boolean functions
AbstractA Boolean function U(z1, z2,…,zm) is universal for given n≥1 if it realizes all Boolean functions f(x1,…,xn) by substituting for each zj a variable of the set {0, 1, x1,…,xn, 1,…,n}). An easily applied method based on linear algebra is developed for finding universal Boolean functions having a small number m of arguments.

AbstractNetwork function virtualization (NFV) implements network functions as software, which enables flexible, resource‐efficient, and rapid provision of network services. In NFV, network services are realized by the service function chain (SFC), which is a chain of virtual network functions (VNFs) linked in the proper order.

Algebraic genericity of frequently universal harmonic functions on trees [PDF]
We show that the set of frequently universal harmonic functions on a tree T contains a vector space except 0 which is dense in the space of harmonic functions on T seen as subset of C^T . In order to prove this we replace the complex plane C by any separable Frechet space E and we repeat all the theory.

Structural biology of ferritin nanocages
Ferritin is a conserved iron‐storage protein that sequesters iron as a ferric mineral core within a nanocage, protecting cells from oxidative damage and maintaining iron homeostasis. This review discusses ferritin biology, structure, and function, and highlights recent cryo‐EM studies revealing mechanisms of ferritinophagy, cellular iron uptake, and ...

Reconstruction of universal Drinfeld twists from representations
Universal Drinfeld twists are inner automorphisms which relate the coproduct of a quantum enveloping algebra to the coproduct of the undeformed enveloping algebra.

This study reveals a unique active site enriched in methionine residues and demonstrates that these residues play a critical role by stabilizing carbocation intermediates through novel sulfur–cation interactions. Structure‐guided mutagenesis further revealed variants with significantly altered product profiles, enhancing pseudopterosin formation. These
