Stochastically driven single level quantum dot: a nano-scale finite-time thermodynamic machine and its various operational modes [PDF]
We describe a single-level quantum dot in contact with two leads as a nanoscale finite-time thermodynamic machine. The dot is driven by an external stochastic force that switches its energy between two values.

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.

Universal properties of spaces of generalized functions
By means of several examples, we motivate that universal properties are the simplest way to solve a given mathematical problem, explaining in this way why they appear everywhere in mathematics. In particular, we present the co-universal property of Schwartz distributions, as the simplest way to have derivatives of continuous functions, Colombeau ...

Generating function for web diagrams
We present the description of the exponentiated diagrams in terms of generating function within the universal diagrammatic technique. In particular, we show the exponentiation of the gauge theory amplitudes involving products of an arbitrary number of ...

AAA+ protein unfoldases—the Moirai of the proteome
AAA+ unfoldases are essential molecular motors that power protein degradation and disaggregation. This review integrates recent cryo‐electron microscopy (cryo‐EM) structures and single‐molecule biophysical data to reconcile competing models of substrate translocation.

Hopf link invariants and integrable hierarchies
The goal of this note is to study integrable properties of a generating function of the HOMFLY-PT invariants of the Hopf link colored with different representations.

Universal symplectic/orthogonal functions and general branching rules
In this paper, we first introduce a family of universal symplectic functions $sp_λ(\mathbf{x}^{\pm};\mathbf{z})$ that include symplectic Schur functions $sp_λ(\mathbf{x}^{\pm})$, odd symplectic characters $sp_λ(\mathbf{x}^{\pm};z)$, universal symplectic characters $sp_λ(\mathbf{z})$ and intermediate symplectic characters as subfamilies. We then realize

The 1/Nc expansion is formulated for the baryon wave function in terms of a specially constructed generating functional. The leading order of this 1/Nc expansion is universal for all low-lying baryons [including the O(1/Nc) and O(Nc^0) excited resonances]

Single circulating tumor cells (sCTCs) from high‐grade serous ovarian cancer patients were enriched, imaged, and genomically profiled using WGA and NGS at different time points during treatment. sCTCs revealed enrichment of alterations in Chromosomes 2, 7, and 12 as well as persistent or emerging oncogenic CNAs, supporting sCTC identity.
