Electrochemically Driven Dissipative Growth of Affinity Hydrogels for Bioresponsive Interfaces

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Voltage pulses drive the growth and reinforcement of hydrogel films under dissipative conditions. This biocompatible strategy enables efficient integration of affinity ligands into the hydrogel matrix, enhancing the selective capture of growth factors and allowing precise temporal control over their release, making them well‐suited as adaptive ...

DELIO TESSA STUDENTE ALL’UNIVERSITÀ DI PAVIA

open access: yesIstituto Lombardo - Accademia di Scienze e Lettere • Rendiconti di Lettere, 2014
Delio Tessa (1886-1939), the writer and dialect poet of Milan has accomplished his studies at the University of Pavia, attending the Faculty of Law. His career as a student was not particularly brilliant and, as it results from his prose writings, published after his death, his recollections of that town remained only sentimental and a source of poetic

Broadband, Flexible, Skin‐Compatible Carbon Dots/Graphene Photodetectors for Wearable Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Broadband, flexible photodetectors integrating nitrogen‐rich carbon dots with single‐layer graphene on plastic substrates are demonstrated. A biocompatible chitosan–glycerol electrolyte enables efficient low‐voltage gating and on‐skin operation. The devices exhibit ultraviolet‐to‐near‐infrared response, mechanical robustness under bending, and verified

Trap‐Assisted Transport and Neuromorphic Plasticity in Lead‐Free 2D Perovskites PEA2SnI4

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
An artificial retina built from lead‐free layered perovskite (PEA)2SnI4 converts light input into a persistent photocurrent and sums successive flashes over time. Micro/nanocrystals integrated on electrodes act as synapse‐like pixels that perform temporal integration directly in hardware. This in‐sensor preprocessing merges detection and computation on

Precision measurement of the ratio of the Λb0 to B-0 lifetimes [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
The LHCb measurement of the lifetime ratio of the Λb0 baryon to the B-0 meson is updated using data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 3.0 fb-1 collected using 7 and 8 TeV centre-of-mass energy pp collisions at the LHC. The decay modes used are

From Bug to Feature: Harnessing Cross‐Sensitivity for Multiparametric Luminescence Sensing

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Cross‐sensitivity in luminescence sensing is reframed from a limitation into a resource for multiparametric detection. Using ruby microspheres as a model system, cross‐sensitivity is quantitatively assessed and exploited through linear discriminant analysis, enabling simultaneous, correction‐free pressure and temperature sensing with a single ...

Doxorubicin‐Loaded Metal–Organic Framework for Ferroptosis‐Enhanced Chemotherapy Through Sustained Zn Release and Glutathione Peroxidase Downregulation

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
A robust zinc‐based metal–organic framework (ZnMOF) enables dual functions of doxorubicin delivery and sustained Zn2+ release to trigger ferroptosis‐enhnaced chemotherapy. DOX@ZnMOF effectively depletes intracellular glutathione, suppresses GPX4, and elevates reactive oxygen species, leading to efficient oxidative DNA damage and apoptosis.
