In this paper, we consider a single server queueing model M/GI/GI/1/1 with two types of calls: incoming calls and outgoing calls. Incoming call enters the system and goes into service if the server is free.

Liquid metal additives are processed in elastomer host resulting in highly conductive and stretchable composites. The material functions as a piezoresistive sensor with minimal drift, low stiffness, and enhanced operating range. The film can replace wires to charge a mobile phone at ∼350% strain and monitors bodily motion in real‐time via a portable ...

On Multiple-Access in Queue-Length Sensitive Systems
We consider transmission of packets over queue-length sensitive unreliable links, where packets are randomly corrupted through a noisy channel whose transition probabilities are modulated by the queue-length.

Analysis of a machine repair problem with an unreliable server and phase type repairs and services
In this paper we study a machine repair problem in which a single unreliable server maintains N identical machines. The breakdown times of the machines are assumed to follow an exponential distribution.
