Optical Whispering‐Gallery Mode as a Fingerprint of Magnetic Ordering in Van der Waals Layered CrSBr
A novel nanoscale optomagnetic sensing approach is developed using whispering‐gallery mode resonances in a self‐rolled‐up microcavity. This method enables ultra‐sensitive detection of weak magnetism by correlating resonance shifts with magnetic susceptibility.

On the extremal length of the hyperbolic metric [PDF]
For any closed hyperbolic Riemann surface $X$, we show that the extremal length of the Liouville current is determined solely by the topology of \(X\). This confirms a conjecture of Mart\'inez-Granado and Thurston. We also obtain an upper bound, depending only on $X$, for the diameter of extremal metrics on $X$ with area one.

Conformally Perforated Shellular Metamaterials with Tunable Thermomechanical and Acoustic Properties
This study introduces Conformally Perforated Shellular Metamaterials (CPSMs), which overcome TPMS design limitations by mapping 2D cellular layouts onto 3D surfaces. CPSMs exhibit enhanced elastic stiffness, thermal conductivity, and acoustic performance compared to intact P‐type shellulars, demonstrating their potential as multifunctional ...

A scalable method for direct laser patterning of 2D films on transparent substrates like polycarbonate and glass is presented. This technique eliminates the need for photolithography and solvents, enabling the fabrication of functional devices like strain gauges, supercapacitors, and photodetector arrays.

Salt‐Compact Albumin as a New Pure Protein‐based Biomaterials: From Design to In Vivo Studies
A new class of materials built entirely of native albumin protein is designed using a simple protocol based on salt‐assisted compaction, breaking with current crosslinking strategies. This green process leads, surprisingly, to water‐insoluble handable materials with high preservation of their native protein structures and Young's modulus close to that ...

A Basic Spanish Language Template for the Upper Extremity Patient Encounter
Effective communication is fundamental to the quality and safety of healthcare. In the U.S., language and cultural differences combined with low health literacy are challenges that physicians must overcome.
