Hodgkin's disease involving the urinary bladder diagnosed by urinary cytology. A case report [PDF]

open access: yesCancer, 1982
A unique case of lymphocyte depletion Hodgkin's disease of the urinary bladder in a 91-year-old woman was diagnosed by exfoliative cytology on a single passed urine specimen. Subsequent bladder biopsy confirmed the diagnosis. Retrospectively, it was ascertained that the patient had had a previous diagnosis of Hodgkin's disease based on biopsy of a ...

AARS1‐Mediated H3K27 Lactylation Rewires Glycolysis to Sustain Aggressive and Recurrent Bladder Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
AARS1 drives PI3K–AKT–mTOR‐dependent glycolysis in bladder cancer, promoting lactate accumulation, increased lactylation, H3K27la enrichment at the HK2 promoter, and HK2 transcription. HK2 reinforces glycolysis, sustaining a metabolic–epigenetic program associated with tumor progression, recurrence, and metastasis.

Dual‐Target Nectin‐4/FAP Heterobivalent Probe 68Ga/177Lu‐FZ‐NF‐1 for Triple‐Negative Breast Cancer: Preclinical Theranostic Evaluation and First‐in‐Human Translation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A novel hetero‐bivalent agent, 68Ga/177Lu‐FZ‐NF‐1, concurrently targets Nectin‐4 and FAP in triple‐negative breast cancer. It yields significant preclinical tumor regression and clinically identifies additional metastatic lesions missed by 18F‐FDG PET, demonstrating promising theranostic potential for personalized management.

Isocyanate‐Modified Melatplatin(IV) Enhances Antitumor Efficacy via TCF4/COL6A3‐Mediated Extracellular Matrix Remodeling and cGAS‐STING Pathway Activation in Bladder Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A series of melatonin‐conjugated platinum(IV) prodrugs was functionalized with isocyanate chains (compounds 5‒12). MP‐12C (compound 11) was identified as the lead candidate, with optimal potency and safety. MP‐12C exhibited greater efficacy than cisplatin by increasing intracellular uptake, reshaping the extracellular matrix, activating the cGAS‐STING ...
