Patients with ASPSCR1-TFE3 fusion achieve better response to ICI based combination therapy among TFE3-rearranged renal cell carcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Cancer
Background TFE3-rearranged renal cell carcinoma (TFE3-rRCC) is a rare but highly heterogeneous renal cell carcinoma (RCC) entity, of which the clinical treatment landscape is largely undefined.

Resurrecting FUS: Adrenal Androgens as an Ultimate Cause of Hematuria, Periuria, Pollakuria, Stranguria, Urolithiasis and Obstruction in Neutered Cats

open access: yesFrontiers in Veterinary Science, 2018
Although many authors have doubted that “feline urological syndrome” (FUS) describes a real pathogenetic entity, because it subsumes such a large variety of signs, Sumner's recent finding that urethral obstruction occurs most frequently in springtime ...

Methotrexate‐Loaded Liposomal Formulation Enables 6‐Week Sustained Intraocular Therapeutic Drug Release in a Porcine Model

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
A liposomal formulation for methotrexate enables minimally invasive, sustained intraocular drug delivery for over six weeks with a single injection. Developed for treating intraocular diseases like lymphoma and PVR, it offers excellent biocompatibility in vivo in a porcine model.

Minimal and Direct Access Surgery in Urology [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
An alternative method to laparoscopic surgery has been developed for urological procedures. The surgery is minimal access because the length of the single skin incision ranges from 3–6 cm depending on the type of operation.

YKT6 Promotes Bladder Cancer Progression by Stabilizing β‐catenin Through USP7‐Mediated Deubiquitination

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The SNARE protein YKT6 is upregulated in bladder cancer (BLCA), correlating with poor prognosis. YKT6 promotes tumor proliferation and metastasis by activating Wnt/β‐catenin signaling. It recruits Ubiquitin‐Specific Peptidase 7 (USP7) to deubiquitinate and stabilize β‐catenin, enhancing its nuclear accumulation and driving oncogenic gene expression ...

A Novel FGFR3‐Targeting Antibody‐Drug Conjugate Induces Tumor Cell Apoptosis through the cGAS–STING Pathway in Bladder Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
LZU‐WZLYCS01 is a novel FGFR3‐targeting ADC for bladder cancer with 7‐ethyl‐9‐fluorocamptothecin (A2) as its cytotoxic payload. LZU‐WZLYCS01 intracellularly releases A2, which targets MAD2L1 to activate the cGAS‐STING pathway and induce tumor cell apoptosis.

Comprehensive molecular profiling of FH-deficient renal cell carcinoma identifies molecular subtypes and potential therapeutic targets

open access: yesNature Communications
Fumarate hydratase-deficient renal cell carcinoma (FH-deficient RCC) is a rare yet highly lethal kidney cancer. To deepen our understanding of FH-deficient RCC, we conduct a comprehensive integrated genomic study.
